Prince of Thorns by Mark Lawrence- Book Review

Loved this book! So dark but you sympathise with the main character enough to like him. I find Song of Ice and Fire has too much gimmicky violence with little character motivation. I like Prince of Thorns more than Game of Thrones!

Yeah I think I preferred Prince of Thorns too. It was nice to just read the a novel and enjoy it whereas sometimes with GoT you're always scratching your head trying to remember what happened to whom etc!

What did you think of the second and third book? Have you done a review of those as well?
