Talk about revisionist history. Intel was the leader, the 900-pound gorilla. They SCREWED UP by hiring a succession of bean-counter CEOs who drove the company into the ground. You NEVER hear what is actually the fact: the Intel board DESTROYED the company by letting it get behind TSMC. Now, a year or two isn't fatal. But the board let Intel get TEN years behind. The board should be called out, not Gelsinger or the technologists in Intel. Sure, Intel has other problems such as about 3x the employees they actually need (Gelsinger should have cleaned house one minute after taking over). But it's the board and three disastrous CEOs in a row that killed Intel. For confirmation, just look at what Lisa Su was able to do with an almost dead AMD....

Having an ex-CFO and a ex-sales... this means it's over for Intel in the long run. Still didn't learn from their experience from Paul Otellini...
