Something tells me 2015 will be the year of the flashlight review. So long to knife reviews of 2014.

I for one am very very glad you are trying so hard to quit saying "very very" all the time. I know it is very very hard to stop something that is so very very ingrained in your mind. With that said I am very very hopeful you will defeat this habit and continue making very very good videos about very very good products. So you be very very strong and very very loyal to this very very important topic. As far as Will goes I'm very very sure he has querks too and he also has a very very hard time controling them. You stay very very strong Cris and I'll be very very pationately waiting for the next very very exciting video. Very very truly yours Brooks

maybe you should get one of those electronic anti bark collars for Will. every time he says very very, it shocks the monkey snot out of him. just an idea.

I'm impressed with thrunite. My T10s has been in my pocket everyday for months and gets used frequently. I might have to try this one for walking the woods at night...might blind an angry cow moose!

Can someone help me understand these new flashlights? why would you want a light that only last about 2 hours and 1 hour on its 2 highest settings. You would have to bring a bag of batteries on a weekend camping trip. My old Maglite would run for days at a time without a battery change. Why spend $60 on a light that only lasts a few hours?

I don't know whats wrong with your new camera. But there are 2 things that are viewable at your beamshots.
First ... the focus was not at the sharpest point. Second ... the picture is grainy ... or maybe this are artifacts.
For my point of view your old camera produced a much clearer picture at night.

Chris, great video, I just subscribed to your channel. Up till now I would never consider getting a Chinese made flashlight. For me it had to be a Surefire. I do believe Surefire are way overpriced  and I'm sure they are over rated also. I would love to see you do a video testing your favorite Thrunite against the Surefire of your choice in an all out durability contest to see which one fails first. After watching this video I am probably going to buy a Thrunite and see for myself if it is a better value than Surefire. Keep up the good work. I really like that jacket you're wearing.

Couple things you missed Chris. Thrunite requires the use of at LEAST 2450mah NiMH batteries to reach its max output and advertised runtime. Second, take a closer look at the lens. There is NO glare coating on it! Thrunite seems to have let a couple early batches out without the glare coating mine is one of them. But DAMN this thing is BRIGHT and can throw like hell! I have yet to trip its thermal sensor and have it step down and Ive left the light on turbo for 45 minutes before. Folks if youre on the fence about this light dont be just BUY IT. Yes it is that good

So I recieved this light today and I noticed that the beam looked more like neutral white rather than cool white. I looked on the box and it says that it is cool white. Im kind of wondering if they put the wrong light in the wrong box or if these lights just have more of a yellow/brownish tint rather than the blueish tint.

This is such a cool flashlight. You get to strobe by double clicking twice i.e. double click to get into turbo then double click again to get to strobe.

This is my next flashlight next to the pen lights you mentioned... I would really like it if you could make a comparison test with NiteCore EA8 Caveman 900 Lumens LED Searchlight, Black and see how that compares. they claim that the NiteCore is better and since it is also AA batteries as well I thing it would be a great mashup comparison.

I once struggled to avoid repeating/saying, "[...] much more [...]": as in the sentence, " ..... now days, my hayfever flairs up much more than it used to in the past."
I forced myself to instead say, "[...] far more [...]."  eg. "... when a speaker uses awkward articulation, it grates on the ears of some listeners far more than it does to other listeners."
This is a much much gooderer way to speeck ;-)

Thanks for the great review! I received my TN4A yesterday, and I am VERY impressed. All my other lights use 18650 batteries, but I've been wanting to check out a AA light for some time now. I like being able to buy the batteries almost anywhere. So far, Thrunite rocks!

I put Duracell rechargeable battery's and have to say another home run. I use them at work also I am a exterminator 30 years and retired police officer wish I had this light back in the 1980's. I still have my stream light 20 rechargeable in my pick up. Keep up the great work and thanks for all that you do Chris at preparedmind 101

Can you run 14500 Batteries in this Flashlight? Per my calculations you can.

Two pair of batteries are in Series, then each pair are in Parallel. The Voltage for the batteries in Series are additive, therefore the Voltage is 3.7v x 2 =7.4v for the pair in series. Then these two pairs are connected in Parallel where the Voltage is not additive. he maximum working Voltage for this Flashlight is 8.0V. Therefore the 14500 Batteries should work fine.

Do you agree?
