good presentation!!!
ОтветитьFantastic!!!! I wish I had you for a instructor. My instructor was good but not as showing as you are. Thank you so much!!!!
Ответитьwhere do youn get one mine is popping
ОтветитьGood showing thank you!!!
Ответитьvery helpful...
if you could install it to the condenser and show it that would be more helpful.
Do you need to ground your txfrmer?
ОтветитьThanks you so much
ОтветитьCan a bad delay relay cause the thermostat to shut off?
ОтветитьI got a 30yr old york split system & i recently have gotten a big delay for my a/c to turn on,i replaced tstat twice but same issues, tstat is set on auto 78 & it turns on once home temp goes up to 82 thats 4 degrees difference, what can it be?
ОтветитьSo, once the load is disconnected the timer starts to counter back 6 seconds? How does the load/unload affect the timer?
Say, I have an A/C has refrigerant leaking. When A/C starts, the low side pressure starts lower and lower, then trigger the low side pressure switch which disconnect the load (24V for the contactor). After the A/C compressor stop running the low side pressure starts to arise due to equalizing. When the pressure arise to a pressure higher than low pressure switch close value. The A/C compressor starts run again. To avoid this kind of short cycling this is the good option to have this delay on the A/C 24V line.
Can you explain that a little bit? Or, do you have another video to explain a little clearer? Thank you.
I watched your video again. It seems the LOAD showed on the timer Delay is for hooking up 120V for compressor?
ОтветитьNice interested video,,,,but away,,,happy new year,,,,,Greg,,,Yesterday I come cross whit one,,, ICM 220 ,,,but I not figure out ,,how dos really works,,,can you help me if know ,,,that función please,,,,,,,,THANKS,,,
ОтветитьWhat I love about this channel is that you don't have to know anything about electrical components, but once you wanna learn I guarantee you that you will learn in a step by step process until you know it all. The information is lucid and well put together. Thank you again Sir.
ОтветитьThanks for your help
ОтветитьDoes it matter in which way you connect the red and white cables in the 24v input? Can I reverse the cables?
ОтветитьQuick question, when a regular t-stat calls for cooling, it triggers the inside blower and the outside fan and compressor.
When the t-stat is satisfied, everything stops running.
Question ;
How can I get all that done, but, keep the inside blower to keep running an extra 1 to 5 minutes?
I would like the inside blower to run maybe 3 minutes longer to get all of the cold air out of ductwork and to warm up the A-coil more, to ensure that the coil has no ice built up, and to run it longer to filter my garage air a bit more.
Any device like that?
Great video brother 💯💯💯💯💯💯
ОтветитьGreat great video. In technical terms, please explain why it is important for the an AC system to equalize before attempting to restart. How does an unequal pressure harm a compressor upon startup?
ОтветитьMark, im installing a delay on make timer in a split -system condenser. my question is: would it be better to delay the Fan, or the compressor? the reason for doing this is to quiet down the unit upon start-up, and to lower the start-up amp draw
ОтветитьIt's only one amp
Ответить5 minutes is that a rule of thumb with split systems
ОтветитьHello there, we have problems with Voltage fluctuations, where the voltage dips briefly and then comes back on right away. This causes my AC compressor many problems, so I installed a ICM Delay on Make Timer. The strange thing is that the timer does not cut out at those dips but only delays once the electricity goes off completely ( same counts for the built in delay in my Air handler thermostat). So here my question : would a Ditek Surge Protector be a solution or do I need to install something else ? Thank you so much !
