Seiko 8L35 movement is more accurate than my overhyped Omega Seamaster

Nice review. After some digging, I found out that the 8L35 movement is 6.0 mm thick (with a diameter of 27.4mm) versus a thickness of 4.6 mm for a good old ETA 2824. The depth of the dial is probably as much responsible as the movement for the watch's overall thickness. It's part of this very original and, yup, somewhat over engineered model (each and every MM300 is, for instance, successfully tested at 37.5 ATM).
