Mashallah Marxism Today has uploaded
ОтветитьBit random but where has Paul gone i hope he's good
ОтветитьThis is cool! Interesting stuff
ОтветитьSo basically the reason the poverty levels are less and the reason the living standards are now higher in China now than then is because China took on a more capitalistic / consumer nature when it came to work. I was not expecting that 😟
ОтветитьI hope you get Dongping Han on the show, author of The Unknown Cultural Revolution. He lived in the country side during the Great Leap Forward and Cultural Revolution.
ОтветитьI still don’t like capitalism. At least not how we have it today in America. I think we need a mixed economy leaning further toward communism
Ответитьlets go
ОтветитьAlright!
ОтветитьGreat interview!
ОтветитьRefuse all bourgeois wars! Land back free Palestine, workers stand with the oppressed peoples of the world, unite!
Ответить❤
ОтветитьIs china still socialist?
Ответитьwithout revolution there is no future for our species.
ОтветитьBrilliant
ОтветитьBro I love Fred Engst
Ответитьwake up babe another Marxism Today banger dropped
ОтветитьPlease invite him to talk more about the Chinese cultural revolution.
ОтветитьIf you check China's GDP or primary energy consumption data using sources like the world bank, you indeed see that the 80ies and early 90ies represent a slight slowdown in growth. Growth picks up a little bit after '93 and then indeed a lot after 2000.
ОтветитьVery interesting
Ответитьits so funny to hear a white guy talk with a chinese accent (bcuz he was raised in China)
ОтветитьThis is amazing! A perspective you certainly won't hear anywhere else. I'm so glad this channel exists.

Ответитьwhere can I read about the 100 days war from a socialist perspective?
ОтветитьIt would be amazing to talk to Fred Engst about modern China!
ОтветитьAmazing upload
ОтветитьSo valuable hearing his experience in the GPCR ❤
ОтветитьFantastic insights and hilarious stories thanks for sharing! We can all learn from this <3
ОтветитьThe Road to Hell is Paved with Good Intentions" - one could go through chapter and verse of China's History. But, we NOW KNOW that the ESSENCE of the "Cultural Revolution" was a faction fight to Eliminate the Internationalits from the Chinese Party. Setting the stage for the GREAT BETRAYAL - I say that for those who might understand that SIGNING ON WITH THE US/NATO - AGAINST the SOCIALIST CAMP - is NOT ACCEPTABLE. The "Owl of Manerva Flies at NIGHT". I know, that's NOT IMPORTANT to those who got caught up in RED HOT VERBIAGE, all those RED FLAGS, "Anti-Imperialism", and Mao's big round face. Try slicing and dicing all you want - you'll break your tools on the HARD FACTS.
Ответитьthis guy is delusional, how could you possibly think China`s heavy industry stagnated in the 80/90s
Ответитьits amazing you got an interview with Mr. Engst, he is perhaps the most influential Marxist among the youth in China today, he is very tech-savy and caught up with the times and runs a channel on Bilibili in Mandarin!
ОтветитьI often dream that I am part of a Red Guardian crew during the Chinese Cultural Revolution. Due to counterrevolutionary thoughts and activity I am getting caught and punished by other Red Guard comrades. Alongside with me is Caleb Maupin and Jason Unruhe, also accused of counterrevolutionary activity. The young revolutionary Maoists shave your heads and then they put dunce caps on your heads. I really hate these Culture Revolutionary dreams that I have.
ОтветитьIt's interesting to hear about the "slow down" tactic used by Chinese workers to resist the capitalist transition in the 1980s. A similar thing took place after the Khrushchev coup and restoration of capitalism in 1956/1957 in the USSR. In the late 1950s and early 1960s, the workers of the Soviet Union responded to the rising cost of living as a result of the decentralization and marketization of production by engaging in factory slow downs- which were quite effective for, just as in 1980s China, workers could not legally be fired! This resistance was crushed both militarily as in the Revisionist suppression of the Novocherkassk massacre in 1962 and economically in the Kosygin Reforms of 1965, which strategically re-introduced bonuses and unemployment into the Soviet economy to break the power of the proletariat. I wouldn't be surprised if Deng and his clique in the CCP learned from the Revisionists in the CPSU in their removal of the Iron Rice Bowl.
ОтветитьErnst is the first person reintroduced MLM in China in the new century, although there are still many debates on his roles in China, one cannot deny that if he is really on the opposite of the proletariats, he would just cooperate with the Chinese bourgeoisie, like keeping silent about the the defeat of Socialism in China and the rise of Chinese imperialism, and repeating the official statements of the so-called “Chinese characteristic socialism” and the Chinese authority must be pleased about this, given the historical ties between his family and China, but he never made any attempt to do so, on the contrary he is publicising Marxism on both sides of the Pacific in his 70s! What a life.
Ответить😊Europeans are colon-yhggghh-izing whole North America South America Australia New Zealand 50% world area and natural resources 50% of Europeans live in Europe 50% Europeans live outside Europ
