Here's my experience from running a small clothing company. The samples I ordered always came out really nice, exactly the way I designed. But multiple times Printify fucked up my customer's shirts in different ways. I've seen my shirts with off centered designs, random ink spots, and a few times they shipping the wrong color. It's embarrassing when my customer spends their hard earned cash on my stuff, wait for it to get delivered, then it comes out like pure shit. The ease of use is great, but I like control and knowing my customer will receive a properly printed shirt.

My biggest control issue is packaging. I feel presentation is everything. But I just don't have the room for large orders. It's something I need to let go off. Thanks for the info.

While I appreciate what I do. I am also an artist who wants to build my own brand and POD is a big help for one or a few shirts. You are right pod providers are part of our team and in the long run it really isn't that much more especially with some prints on short runs it can be crazy expensive..

If you want become a doctor in a hospital, you start your career with a dept of up to 500,000 US dollars, if you do it in the USA as the education and qualification is so huge expensive. If you want become a pilot for an airline, you have to finance your pilot career with debt and you owe 100,000 bucks to the airline which pre-finances your education ... and so on. Nothing is for free, everywhere are hurdles, problems and difficulties to overcome. Accept it, if you love design and you like to service people with clothes, that this business has some hurdles to take. Its a very wrong approach in your video, that your message is: Keep away from a business, which has its troubles. Every business has its challenges ... that's how life goes. If one does not all this stress, he shall become an employee in a low qualified job from 9 to 5. Generally yes, you have to do in a business plan a critical approach to all the risks. No doubt, there are such also in the segment of PoD industries. A.I. will inflate the market and there is hardly to make some money. But that's how things go. An entrepreneur has to be creative to survive and keep his/her emotions under control not to drive crazy with all the stress. A start-up company takes 5-7 years till it has established safely in the market. The first 5-10 years are a period of sleepless nights, worries, fears .. and often situations close to bankcrupcy and the end of own dream. Thats the brutal reality. But who is driven by love, passion and the iron will to make it, can make it. Anyhow I think you have generally good intentions to help the people. But I think you should re-think your "story telling". Be more clear, come to the point. Less is more. Write a script, instead speaking free.
