I think the way you bent your knees you’d be sent to hell 😂
ОтветитьNice one! Seoul is a fascinating city, but I think it's sad how most of the historical buildings are gone. Between the korean war and the rapid economic development, most classic buildings have been lost
Ответитьnice video dude! subscribed and waiting for more
ОтветитьExcellent video
ОтветитьVery informative and well shot. 🌈
ОтветитьNice to see you venturing outside of Europe! (though I love Europe!) . I would love to visit South Korea at some point. Looks like a really great city. LOL, I hope you made it into the picture at the end! Thanks for another informative tour!
ОтветитьSeoul looks beautiful, I love exploring such palaces and countries. The architecture looks magnificent and beautiful. After visiting Japan and Taiwan, South Korea is next on my travel radar :) .
ОтветитьI really enjoyed the history lesson. I’m glad you explained the differences between this palace and the one in Beijing. I slightly thought it was it but knew you were in South Korea.
PS that entryway at the end of the video is super short!
Very informative video about the palace. Korea is full of historic places to visit. I am looking forward to visit Korea someday.
ОтветитьVery beautifully shot! Amazing footage.
Ответитьvery nice narration Sven! The changing of guards is always awesome to watch.
ОтветитьI visited Seoul two and a half years ago and loved it. Cool palace door b-roll, a shot I like to do as well. Man, you would've been in real trouble with your incorrect kneeling position and location, haha! I didn't get to see the changing of the guards while there, unfortunately. Funny you are in their picture at the end. How tall are you?
ОтветитьSuch history, love it. I didn't realize the similarities of the Seoul palace and the forbidden city in China. I really appreciate all the history you shared. So funny, you are probably in a lot of families photos in that alley haha.
ОтветитьAmazing! Thanks so much for sharing, the history and culture is truly unique in this part of the world. We are hoping to visit next year, keep the great content coming!
Ответитьsoo much history in this country, I really wanted to visit here too
ОтветитьTerrific guide with excellent video!! this is really cool for visitors to Seoul! thank you for sharing👍👍👍
ОтветитьHaha getting yourself kicked out of court at the start of your Korea! 😂😂 I love these old palaces so much. Including the ones in Beijing you mention!
ОтветитьLove the style of your videos - info-packed and great editing! The palace looks stunning! I've been to the Forbidden Palace in China and I can see a few parallels here. Can't wait to visit South Korea!
ОтветитьSo interesting to watch this after your fashion video - huge contrasts in the same city! You made me laugh when you said you would be in prison for those bows haha. The changing of the guard ceremony looks really interesting to watch. Good bloopers at the end as well!
ОтветитьThe changing of the guards at the Royal Palace is probably the most colourful and flowy I've ever seen! The restoration looks great. Interesting juxtaposition of the old and the new when you were on that street on a hill with Seoul tower (and the modern city) in the background. 😀
ОтветитьOh, this brings so much memories! I went to Seoul 3 years ago and I loved it 😊
ОтветитьThe palaces are utterly gorgeous!!! Really wish I get to visit this side of the world one day! How are you getting perfect audio when you’re so far away from the camera?
ОтветитьThe history of Seoul was actually highlighted not only during the Joseon Dynasty but also during the Three Kingdoms Period. The first capital of Baekje, one of the three kingdoms, was Seoul. The tombs, walls, and buildings of Baekje people still remain near Jamsil next to Gangnam.
ОтветитьThanks for the thorough lesson on how to kneel in front of the King! I can't wait to go to Seoul to see the changing of the guard and experience the culture and the history of myself!
ОтветитьKyeongbokgung palace have suffered many times.
last destruction of palace was during the japanese colonial rule of korea(1910~1945)
Empire of Japan destroyed almost 90% of palace structure.
now palace is on its reconstruction process.
done almost 30% of its former glory.
it is planed to complete 90% reconstruction by 2045. (over 10% of site has changed in to roads or public building site and other)
Joseon dynasty was not a kingdom of chinese empire!
Joseon was just a kingdom of korea
Thank you so much
ОтветитьThe Korean palaces in Seoul are older than the Forbidden City in Beijing
ОтветитьDas war sehr toll und aufregend ❤
ОтветитьI’d just watch the video, but I hate flying to Seoul.
ОтветитьI’m never going back to Seoul for the rest of my life. Seoul is very stinky in a lot of spots.
ОтветитьWhat do you think of the history in Seoul?
