Dont really like the design on this particular movie, its like if the soft part of the head its melting down over the place where the eyes should be

Shame it didn't make an appearance in the film. Once again they just cover the practical effect work in CGI.

Proof that David created the demolition and not the engineers the "xenomorph" art in the Juggernaut was a decon I can tell from the head.

Technically it’s not a xenomorph it’s a protomorph as it didn’t become a chest burster and it was made by David not naturally like xenomorphs the are like distant cousins

If writing were as good as the effects... No offence meant to hard working artists. Fox corp is what it is and hollywood is what it is. And not meaning i could make anything good, just that there must be so much caring writers from the 90's to this day that just have not been utilized

I have a question or a request what if predator armor had a xenomorph skin plate on there armor? What would it look like?

Giger's original creature design was fantastic, and Alien an absolute classic film - near perfect in execution. Acting, directing, visual design, lighting, cinematography, special effects, and the script writing were all top-tier - and it still shows. And all on an $11 million budget.
Covenant, however, was a corporate franchise propelled mindless turd, with plot holes so big you could drive an armored personnel carrier through them.

its funny hearing people talk it up more than what it is lol, like give me a break its just an animatronic prop. is it cool? yes does it need this pinkies up type of banter? no

I think the original two movies look better but they don’t do much practical effects anymore.

The lips don't retract or move in this one.

We are in the year 2023 and there is still no movie that has been able to overcome this wild entity.

Convenant does look more realisctic since they show during the day how the alien look,l having laught when watch the old alien cause they move weird and funy

One of the worst movies in the alien franchise was so boring

They had an animatronic and the movie looked LIKE THAT? Really?

I really dig the more organic take on the iconic xenomorph. It still honors to the biomechanical look, but it's not so heavy handed with it. To me it brings a bit more realism to it. It's just a touch more natural looking. Like nature mimicking mechanics. Well done.

So far ahead of it's time it is still the undisputed King....or Queen : ) of the Alien franchise.

As fantastic as this animatronic is, no, you don’t need to evolve the look of Big Chap. The Biomechanical look is exactly what makes him so „Alien“

Terrible movie… Should of been a sequel to the Engineers.

Something feels more "correct' about the practical creations on this production than on the Romulus one. Not saying that Romulus didn't do an amazing job too though.
