ОтветитьThe map of different provinces shown are wrong. And Beijing people don't practice folk religion "神道" (Shinto), it's a Japanese folk religion.
ОтветитьMake Indonesia, guaranteed views! 🇮🇩
ОтветитьAnd Taiwan ???
ОтветитьOk, now do Africa
ОтветитьThere is no Taiwan in the china map YAAAY
Ответитьwtf is shenism, I've never heard of that before as a religion
ОтветитьGuangdong/Canton doesn’t even get a mention? This is the historical hub of Chinese culture across the world, not to mention it has high influence throughout Chinese itself as well.
They have their own distinct language (Cantonese), and due to migration and the influence of HK, it is still the lingua franca for many overseas Chinese.
Nice video, and good job using the correct map. 👍
ОтветитьThe sad thing is, there are so many western people keep stereotyping in Chinese people, thinking that the majority Han Chinese people are insufficient in cultural diversity. It is obvious that Han Chinese people who lived in different places...like Harbin, Haikou, Chengdu, Beijing and Shanghai, etc... can't be the same, even they are classified as the same ethnic, because of their geography, dialect and history.
ОтветитьIndonesia could be interesting
ОтветитьSo what I'm hearing is Mongolia has a claim on Chinese land.
Ответитьshenism just means buddhist. it's not called "shenism"
Ответитьwhere's our Min Chinese friend Taiwan?
ОтветитьDo Iran!
Ответить1. China proper (Original Chinese)
2. Manchuria (Manchus)
3. Mongolia (Mongols)
4. Tiber (Tibetans)
5. Uyghurstan (Uyghurs)
taiwan is one part of china
Ответитьchina is a part of taiwan
Ответитьyou dont know shit about china, not even kidding. This video has a lot of inaccuracies in it
ОтветитьYou missed taiping
ОтветитьCool video, just discovered the channel and look forward to a few others already ❤
Ответить你无法分清楚政权和国家的区别。
ОтветитьI've watched your video, and I saw nothing but bullshit
ОтветитьChinese as a term is kind of ambiguous. If you do a strict han = Chinese, then so many other people group in history who have claimed to be King, Dukes, and Emperors of China aren't Chinese then. Like are the Manchu's not Chinese in that sense? The Manchu's have pretty much 100% Sinicized themselves. What about the Hui (which historically was all Muslims) which are now just Muslim people that are not part of other ethnicities (so not Uyghur or Kazakh or etc). Or descendants of Xianbei or Khitan peoples who at various points in history claimed to be Emperors via the Chinese Mandate of Heaven.
ОтветитьPretty mid explanation honestly. Lacks comprehension of the Han “ethnicity”.
ОтветитьIt's not as many as what is happening in your country. In USA, there are more than 100 genders. We bet you must have trouble every morning and get confused what gender you should stay when you look at yourself in the mirror.
ОтветитьSo wrong! You don't even distinct the provinces correctly and use incorrect (colonial) names for the native lands.
Ответитьtaiwan is a part of china😅😅
Ответитьbullshit
ОтветитьYou don't even mention Taiwan. -10000 social credits.
ОтветитьWas really hopefull you wouldnt parrrot the interventionist talking points in Xinjiang. No one knew the word Uyghur existed until the regime change media institutions attempted to destabilize China with false claims of Uyghur genocide and blaming China covid, recently came to learn the strain in Wuhan was NOT the one that threw the world into chaos, it has been proven to have been in western Europe as early as 4 months before lockdowns began.
Ответить你先使用正确的中国地图,再来聊中国。
Ответитьit's just absurd to combine fujian, zhejiang and guangdong's coastal region all together, zhejiang should be put together with other wu speaking areas like part of jiangsu south of yangtze and shanghai, while shanghai could potentially be group of its own, but southern jiangsu should be with zhejiang
ОтветитьAlternate more correct thumbnail - all countries annexed by the chinese
Ответитьboth china and india is not permanent country
ОтветитьCould you at least attempt to pronounce the names properly?
Ответить"Shenism" isn't some monolithic religion. It's an umbrella term for a wide range of folk religious practices of the Han Chinese. Nobody calls themself a "Shenist".
Ответитьgreat job on breaking down the cultural regions of China, really informative! however, i personally think that while the distinctions are fascinating, they might oversimplify the dynamic nature of culture in such a vast country. culture isn't always confined to geographic boundaries, right?
ОтветитьYour info is not accurate on:
1) China is comprised of 56 ethnicities not 18
2) the Han ethnicity is a cultural identity, created during the Han dynasty 202BC-9AD. As a result within the 90% Han population there are significant variations.
Mongols, Uyghurs, Tibetans, and Manchus. Seems to me like China will break up sooner or later.
Ответитьno taiwan ,so bad
Ответить¿Would Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s, “Five Bars Flag,” help define the different groups?
Ответитьlol wtf is Shenism. this guy talks shit
ОтветитьSo 5-Chinese cultural regions are -
1- North China (Hans Chinese majority, Chinese Folk Religion, Confusism)
2- South China (Cantonese, Taoism)
3- Inner Mongolia (Buddhism)
4- Tibet (Tibetian Buddhism)
5- East Turkistan / Xinjiang (Muslim, Turkic).
Zhongguo 💪💪💪My home! (We're ganna invade Anchorage)
