I'm Beginning To Think Harley Riders Can't Ride

When the harley driver without the helmet felt it was because he grabbed the front brake to tight. Its ok to brake the rear a little bit to much (without abs) yes you will droft but not fall if you have good balance, the back is so heavy amd your sitting low. But you will lose breacking power then you panic and start to grap the front, once the front tire is overloaded it will slip like that. Happen to my while emergency braking practice

A good majority of sportbike riders are incompetent riders. They drive too fast, pay no attention to hazards and think they own the road. It's pretty obvious most of them have never taken a motorcycle course and shouldn't be on the road. My comment is supported by all the accidents in this video that were easily avoided had the riders known what to do.

I dont think Harley Riders are less capable or less cooridinated etc I just think the average Harley owners motivation for riding in the first place is way different than say the typical sport bike or sport touring bike owners....The Harley bunch I think maybe way more about enjoying a style and the look? Being seen with the BRAND? With a view to be identified as a bit of a "biker" bad boy image?....maybe also the the rumbly "potato potato potato" butt vibration thumbling experience of riding being most highly important?? As opposed to other brand owners instead enthralled with the handling and performance capabilities of their machines? ...hopefully I will more and more be proven wrong about that as more new to Harley riders begin to "get" the sport aspect of riding?? (or is it just my wishful thinking??) Sad that Harley scrapped their original plan to build the Boulivard? Was that the name or the Revolution powered naked sport bike they were supposed to but then failed to build? Basically with the liquid cooled overhead cam engine of the Pan America? Heading in the direction of something more akin to an American version of Ducati sportbikes??? Maybe? eventually??? I would SO finally buy a Harley! But never until the do such as that! I do NOT want NYTHING powered by the old air cooled mills....PLEASE Harley! Build us MODERN tech morotcycles! With some power at REVS! Lightweight! Great suspension and brakes! You just figured that out? Other then 1%ers, the majority of HD riders are what I call "HOG Weenies". Instant biker, just add a Harley. Unless you have been riding for 20+ years, you're a newbie (55 years of riding myself).

I started riding in 1972 on a Yamaha 80. Then a Kawasaki 175, Honda 250, 1978 Kawasaki KZ 1000 LTD, 2005 HD Fat Boy. Still riding and haven’t gone down since 1979. I don’t think you can make a rider experience determination based on bike type. I can tell within 5 mins on the skill level of any rider by watching how they move their head in turns. Control your speed extended your life. Slow down and begin to enjoy the ride and eliminate destination fixation. It’s the ride not the destination that is why we ride.

Feet as Ski’s until you snap both your ankles. Just use your engine breaking and rely on the centrifugal force of your spinning tires. They exert incredible force to remain upright. Trust physics…

As an Indian living in Delhi riding my bike in Delhi traffic.... I am feeling that they will never be able to ride here in my city...
