ОтветитьBow in reverse all the way...good advise. Thanks for sharing
ОтветитьNice. Congratulations on that tag..
ОтветитьNice shot! Ever tried it out of a kayak?
ОтветитьGreat canoe tips Shawn. Nice shot too.
Nate
Liked this one!
ОтветитьWell done! Even while paddling, & video tapping you managed to track a dusk & bring it down. I'm full of admiration for your display of skill. Brian 76
ОтветитьNicely done. You have a real knack for instruction. I enjoy your videos very much.
Ответитьlol I'd probably flip the boat 😂
ОтветитьThat last minute of video... thoroughly impressed!
Ответитьawesome
ОтветитьI was out on my boat about a week ago, beautiful fall day, warm and little wind 4-mph or so. At one point I had the pleasure of blowing down wind, just shifting from the bow/stern solo seat to mid position would change how the boat drifted, mid seat it would turn slightly sideways, while stern seated it would raise the bow just enough to catch the breeze and keep the boat heading straight down wind. I did get one shot at three ducks, with far less results than you. Good stuff!
ОтветитьGood stuff, enjoy the hunting content
ОтветитьHi Shawn, I'm not a big fan of hunting and fishing but I enjoy more and more your videos. Great work man! Hope to see you again with Joe, Doug and Martin. :-)
ОтветитьI was on a similar hunt a few weeks back, and I thought was was balanced well in the middle of the canoe paddling solo but I shot at some ducks and ALMOST knocked myself out of the canoe with the recoil!
Nice video. I like how you've balanced your narration with your B-roll. Hard to get good solo footage of bagging a duck though, eh?
Good advice on seating position while solo canoeing. I've been doing the same thing since reading Bill Masons books many years ago.
ОтветитьI so want to do this next year! My pump gun is a cylinder bore, and I might take home an old Cooey single shot in full choke. Will either be of much use spitting out steel? Thanks.
ОтветитьHi Shawn. I enjoyed your video very much. What type of paddle are you using in the video? I haven't seen one like that down here in Georgia (USA). :)
ОтветитьI was going to try hunting from my canoe this fall, only problem is that its white on the inside and yellow on the outside. Would you recommend I repaint it? Or would burlap suffice for camouflage.
Ответитьwhen ride solo im always kneeling in the center. I fully disregard the seats.
ОтветитьGood advice!
Ответить👍👍
ОтветитьWhat kind of shotgun is that?
ОтветитьExcellent paddling tips. Great video.
ОтветитьNice shot!
Here in Ohio if you throw decoys out with anchors you are trespassing since landowner owns the river bottom.
Do you have solutions for anchorless decoys?
i cant believe i missed this video
ОтветитьHave a small gauge rope tied to your shotguns stock. You don't need to lose it.
ОтветитьTime to ban you serial killers.. 10 years and hunting will be outlawed.. we will hunt you down and run a eugenics program on you.. you will be removed from the gene pool.. that is a promise
ОтветитьThis guy is hard as fuck.
ОтветитьOlder video but I just now saw it. I myself am an avid canoe hunter. I use my old Coleman canoe to access river islands that can’t be reached by land. There’s a ton of deer, wild hogs and ducks in the sloughs. It’s a blast
ОтветитьHey Shawn! Probably been watching you for 10 years at this point. I’ve drifted away over the years. Have you done a canoe build?
