Ultrakill’s a massive tragedy,a devastating tragedy. I was so happy to finally beat Gabriel. Then this cutscene played. I was still happy, but I also felt guilty at the same time, knowing I caused this to happen to him. I know there was no way to prevent it other than simply never beating him, but I still feel bad.

You'll probably laugh at the Gabriel dialogue after beating him. How can an Archangel break his character so easily? What could happen to him that made it so angry?

Then you realize why, it wasn't a scream of anger, it was one of desperation and fear of what might happen to him by losing against you, materialized on swears, curses and frustration.

The epilogue in Act 1 was kinda sad. Gabriel gets the Father's light stripped away from him, he had 24 hours to unmake his mistake, his screams, painful screams got silenced in praise for God
