Nissan was making great cars in the 70s 80s 90s early 2000s !! The best Infiniti's was the 2003s G35 great great cars!!!

Honda also would inherit a superior AWD system. SH-AWD is absolute garbage in comparison to an Attesa system. Picture this a Honda type r engine paired with an Attesa AWD system slap a Mitsubishi logo on it and call it an Evo. YOUR WELCOME HONDA. I'd buy it.

Nissan needs to bring back the Xterra. The off-road guys are begging for it. The frontier is selling like hot cakes for Nissan atm mainly because it has a V6. With the new 4Runner dropping the ball this is Nissan chance to make bank in that segment.

Starts at 40k for a base model and probably top out at 49k for a nismo model.

I really don’t like this idea. Nissan should get a different CVT, Honda needs to use better engineering with their 1.5 Turbo engines.
It’s all about EV’s and Hybrids; but ICE cars are their bread and butter than funds their other vehicles.
Two giants stumbling together, like Studebaker and Packard in the 1950’s. Shared technology? How far will it go?
It’s scary for both manufacturers…..

Honda is getting some EV and software technology they desperately need. I think they should position Nissan as sport and off road mid range vehicles. Honda could still provide affordable commuters and light off roading. Then maybe Acura could actually move up a bit to actual luxury class.
