How to find the perfect matching ink for your fountain pen

Come on, what movie magic do you employ that everytime your nib is this clean after filling? My ocd always keeps me wiping for minutes 😂

Thats a nice mauvy lavender to match the cap. I wish the inks coming out of the pen showed ALL of the properties that show up in a swatch or splatter. I'm actually sad sometimes when I know I have a metallic sheen or sparkly shimmer right there IN THE PEN & it doesn't all show in the writing sample. I'm happiest with the results of the shading inks, so I settle most times. sigh

I love Sailor Manyo inks. I did see an ink by Octopus called Unicorn that might be appropriate for this pen, just a thought..
