This was a nice tour of the Shrine and surrounding forest. I wanted to confirm a few things, so hopefully you can let me know. It seemed like a 10 minute walk from Harajuku Station (assume you started there) and then another 10 minutes to get to the main set of buildings that form the shrine? I was one video, where it looked like 45 minutes or more, so I wanted to find out how much time it takes. When you reached the shrine, it didn't seem that you were allowed into any of the buildings, but I didn't know if this was just because you couldn't videotape the interior of the buildings. If you can't see inside, I'm wondering why this is such a popular place to visit? Also if this free....some one reference where you need to pay 500 yen to visit the inner garden and an additional fee for the museum? Would appreciate your help since I hope to visit Japan in a few months. Thanks, Ron

I love Meiji Jingu. Very tranquil, forested area in the middle of the city.
