I've made my first mead: chopped raisins, 3lbs honey, 1 half of an orange's peel, and a cup of lady grey tea (black tea).

I'm starting a maple mead soon, upgraded my brew carboy to a 6.5 gallon, and am going to make a 2 gallon maple mead. I'm using Lanvin 71b, 14%.

Any advice?
