It’s cool bro.
ОтветитьIn my experience, solving problems and fixing mistakes is at least half of the process of knife making. I love a good challenge. Thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьMa... Meatloaf!
ОтветитьI've been a fan for years, thank you for all the info and education you are posting! You are a legend Sir!
ОтветитьDon't take "constructive criticism" from people who don't construct anything. :) Love your videos!
ОтветитьWe all like to better ,if we didn't we'd be just another person. As an artist I give my best for every piece I do, pride thing there. Always going to be negative people out there, ignore them.
ОтветитьKnife maker Bud Nealy got his start as a Broadway orchestra musician
ОтветитьKnowing how to do something is one thing, but having the tools to do it is something else.
ОтветитьWalt learn alot not good with internet shit have a question contec please
ОтветитьSome days you say stuff that just makes me laugh. This was one of them,,thanks.
ОтветитьAwesome! Looking forward to it.
You gave me a new idea from this video. What if my knives came in a box? I could make tons of nice little wooden boxes for free because a local doll house factory changed their place of business and gave away free pallet loads of different thickness plywood and mdf. Also a bunch of tiny brass hinges.👍
I had never noticed it before, but now that you mention it - you are quite the whiner! :-) Some see a whiner, others see a problem solver! As always, thanks for sharing, for solving problems and taking me along on your journey.
ОтветитьYour the man, there’s always an idiot out there somewhere sitting on there azz!! Talking about stuff they no absolutely nothing about!!! Your videos are super helpful!!!
ОтветитьLove what you do. No wine wine wine.
ОтветитьIt doesn’t matter whether you say you can or you can’t do something - either way you are right!
ОтветитьWe all should try working as a builder. I swear half of house building is about problem solving. Thanks for the video Walter.
ОтветитьYou make a good point.
ОтветитьWhine, whine, blah, blah. Haha! Some people just don't want to be happy. Poor slobs.
ОтветитьI was an electronics technician followed by a computer systems administrator, followed by a cyber security engineer. Talk about fixing problems! Now I'm retired, making knives..."Each knife has a lesson." Is how I see this. Hopefully I'm learning the lessons.
ОтветитьI've been watching and supporting for years and I haven't heard you bitchin about anything that I can think of. As far as detractors or nay sayers go , well I'll show restraint and keep it family friendly. But they can always watch something else 🙄
ОтветитьAs they say in the Navy - "A b!tch!n' sailor is a happy sailor". Now get back to work!
ОтветитьOddly enough this is probably one of my favourite videos you’ve posted.
As always thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences. Problem solving is why I love what I do professionally as a construction contract administrator and out in the shop as a hobby bladesmith. Identifying the problem (or whining) is the first step in the solution, but some people prefer to be oblivious to it and think everything is blue skies and roses.
Anyways, love the videos. Really looking forward to the series, and really hope one day to get some time off to make the trip south and run into you at a show, but you a beer, or maybe even be able to take a course or something from you in GA.
Wondering if you can show me how to make a Kydex sheath?
ОтветитьIm taking a break from making a poor attempt at making a sheath mold for a knife Ive made, similar to the one you made with the vacuum fixture in order to watch this video. Because Im about ready to ball peen this monitor and computer.
Ответить"there we go, whine whine whine im getting happier by the minute" is the best perspective on life ever, cant have any boring points in your life if you love problems
ОтветитьIs there anywhere that’s not just a killer on shipping cost for steel and other materials?
ОтветитьMoms basement playing call of duty eating hot pockets! 😂 You insulted whole generations! I love it!
ОтветитьYep, problem solving is intrinsic to many things. I occasionally play the 'What skill is most important in building stuff?' in my head game. And my answer is 'You have to enjoy solving problems". Every project is a series of problems to be solved.
ОтветитьI'd have to agree with you, Walter. Anyone can make a knife, but to be a knife-maker, you have to solve problems!
ОтветитьWalter, Just a "Thank You" for being honest and real!
ОтветитьI’ve been an auto technician for 20yrs and am an aspiring knife maker. My life is problem solving and I love that part of your videos. No labor of love comes without adversity
