It's not what's in your head that's the problem, it's the act of praying at that location.
So here's why they have such laws. People are known to have harassed both employees and patients at such establishments. Some of the things they do is hold up signs, chant, yell / harass, and pray. And it can all lead to much worse and has. Neither the employees nor the patients need or deserve to be harassed, especially the patients. They are dealing with enough already, whatever the reason, abortion is not an easy thing to experience, neither is the aftermath. So in order to protect the staff and patients they have established these laws, which I'm sure are probably posted.
Give people an inch, they'll take a mile. If one person can do it, why not two, why not twenty. Out of all the square footage in England, I'm sure that gentleman could've prayed somewhere where it has not been prohibited due to the actions of people who have also prayed there. He probably could've been given a smaller fine or probation instead of such a large fine, to be sure. But I understand why they have such laws. The experience they've had with people who do certain things at that location and others has probably been very negative and possibly threatening. Insight and sense of perspective are highly undervalued traits these days. I doubt very many people that have watched this video took a second to think about why the law exists, and what people have experienced. Is it really that big of an inconvenience to pray somewhere other than the amount of space that building occupies and it's immediate surroundings?
