Actually the NI increase is perhaps a good thing for controlling immigration.
If employers have to hire less people, they simply won't need to swarm across the channel.
Alternatively there will be a MASSIVE increase in the number of jobs paying under £5,000 a year.
I get the impression that the Government plans to borrow more - so higher interest repayments, tax businesses more - so they have lower profits for investment in new plant, kit, equipment, systems and spend more on day to day operating costs.
No wonder the OBR says this budget will boost short term rather than long term growth.
The presenter needed a chart of international growth comparisons. We are amongst lowest growing economies post Covid. Brexit effect?
The rich people are all freaking out! GOOD! Signs that it was a great budget.
ОтветитьI won’t be contributing 👌🏽
Ответитьsave £3bn not sending money to ukraine
ОтветитьWhy are tax payers funding the private company the NHS Trust, most people know the blood service was sold off in 2013 to Bain Capital who also purchased a chunk of the NHS in 2013 so why are tax payers funding this private company, also all GP surgeries are also private companies now that no one has a contract with, its long over due that people need to start doing their own research to find out the real truth
Ответитьlook at what the Conservative party have done to the NHS ! How they’ve been trying to dismantle it and underfund it, so it’s not fit for purpose. I personally would rather pay higher taxes and have an NHS that works. What did the Conservative party do? They would use the national insurance what is the national insurance for? It’s for the NHS. Most people would agree that they would prefer to pay slightly more national insurance and have a fully working NHS then losing it. Austerity has been proven to be a false economy. It literally had a mistake on a spreadsheet that said it would work when, in fact, when the figures were done correctly said it was detrimental to an economy ! which has been proven.
ОтветитьThis report seems incredibly biased. Working class people will do much better out of this. Isn't that a foundational Labour core value anyway? Seems straight out of a Labour play book to me.
ОтветитьWith regard to secondary Class 1, Class 1A or Class 1B National Insurance contributions, the amounts paid are part of the employment-remuneration costs for the employer that are deductible as an expense in computing the taxable profits or losses of the employer's trade, profession or vocation. So in other words, the national insurance contributions that an employer pays its tax deductible,as it is classed as a business expense! so when a business works out the profit for a tax bill, they look at business expenditures, which can be deducted from the tax bill. Guess what national insurance contributions falls into this category for a business.
ОтветитьSame old Labour, eventually they will run out of other peoples money!
ОтветитьSupporting the young and poor, and taxing the rich is really bad, say the rich
ОтветитьiT WONT CHANGE A THING FOR THE illegal migrants, they will still enjoy 5Star treatment on everything whilst pocketing the weekly £50.
ОтветитьTHE GOVERNMENT ARE THIEVES STOLEN LOADS OF PUBLIC MONEY!
ОтветитьHEY. STOP BUILDING WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION
ОтветитьSupporting the US for Ukraine / Russia war, supporting the US on trade war with China, supporting the US Navy exercises at South China Sea, Supporting the US for Middle East war and etc. The US doesn't seen supporting UK anything ?? Wake up, be the British and time to stop behave like puppets for US.
ОтветитьPutting a negative spell of course, the things will look terrible
But actually, I think that a budget for the future and will help a lot in long-term
a bit harsh these taxes m'lord
ОтветитьThey might be stealing from us.
Ответить£3bn for a lost cause???
ОтветитьJust cut back pensions to like 50% of what they are now, and that'll sort it out. Giving the % of the population that is the least productive and the most wealthy a free handout every month is unaffordable . Let them sell their million pound houses.
Ответитьthree years ago benson was 9.5
now it is 14
lol
London's about to get a whole lot richer and the rest of us are about to get a whole lot poorer, gunna be some fun times ahead.
ОтветитьAll I see is us working class suffering even more, money taken from our hard work to be used for their gain and not ours.
ОтветитьSo the Truth on the 22 Billion Black Hole is coming out. Looks like the OBR isnt happy. Fiscal Studies think tank said Reeves "may be overegging the £22bn black hole. And states that 5.6 Billion was added during the First Month Labour was in charge. Because of public sector pay rises. And Fiscal Studies said without public sectore pay rises the Figure would have been around 12.5 and 13.5 Billion. So Pay Rises Cost the PENSIONERS There Winter Fuel Allowance. Hope Every Trade Union is Proud of that Fact. Really Working for the Working Class. First time i agree with Jeremy Hunt
ОтветитьUnemployment and inflation are going to soar.
ОтветитьFor “public investment” read giving the public sector, IE the unions that fund labour, more money for doing even less.
ОтветитьREFORM UK WILL SORT THIS MESS OUT WHEN THEY GET IN 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
ОтветитьNext: taxes inevitably put up inflation. Interest rates up, people losing homes. More NHS £managers doesn't make me happy.
ОтветитьIs this budget some kind of revenge attack against people who have physical components to their job?
ОтветитьWtf is this fear mongering? It doesn't give any context.
ОтветитьAre we any nearer to a proper definition of a Working Person from Labour after this?
ОтветитьThat government borrowing chart is scary... Reform will have a right mess to clear up come 2029.
ОтветитьThis is clearly the worst budget in a century.
ОтветитьThey said it's a budget not to spook the markets, so why has the Euro gone down
Ответить15 billion a year in foreign aid, charity begins at home.....
ОтветитьGood. The big companies need to pay up more 🎉
ОтветитьAnd this is only the first budget
ОтветитьThis is so biased looool😂
ОтветитьWhat an appalling bad presenter.
ОтветитьWhere is Robin Hood oh yes they just put him in prison.
ОтветитьStarmer has `hit the ground stumbling`
ОтветитьRIP UK
ОтветитьThey need to take on more tax because we are expecting 315,000 migrants to arrive every year for the next five years.. that’s a lot of hotels .. but remember none of them will be paying taxes.. just us mugs.
ОтветитьGreat charts, thks.
ОтветитьIt's the 70s again
ОтветитьLabour has to go. Economic disaster coming
ОтветитьSo to summarize- much higher taxes, higher government borrowing, somewhat higher investment but still lower growth? 😢😮
ОтветитьOut of the frying pan, straight into the fire.
