A weapons-grade moron on climate issues. She might be the most ignorant and gullible person in Australia's parliament, but she does face stiff competition from other Teals, the Greens and Labor.

Shame these so called community independents are not watching the total failure of climate policies in Germany - where all of this nonsense really started. Now the Europeans have been through a winter with no reliable energy supplies, and freezing conditions. Industry shut down, lost jobs on a massive scale, and big energy dependent companies moving their operations to Asian and Eastern European countries where energy supplies are reliable. We have to recognise the fact that lack of reliable energy supplies is a far more devastating proposition than unfounded fears of climate change, which have produced over 30 total prediction failures. Fine for suburban would-be drivers of change to fiddle about with government policies which have a profound effect on our economy, but no effect whatever on our climate, but sooner or later there has to be an awakening to reality and a reversal of the policies of these dreamers.

Indeed, that rude "awakening to reality" is likely coming with a vengeance when NSW's next major coal fired power station (Eraring, representing some 25% of NSW's current base load electricity) is decommissioned, currently scheduled for August 2025.

In the absence of equivalent, or better, base load power generating technology (the 'unreliables' of wind & solar-PV's certainly aren't up to the job in their own right; hydro via Snowy II remains a hugely expensive, distant white elephant & whilst nuclear powered SMR's might prove commercially viable against fossil fuels one day, nuclear power remains banned anyway!), so rolling black outs and/or load shedding, already starting to impact rural communities toward the end of the power grid, will soon enough reach major metro cities like Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane & of course Adelaide, albeit, already well experienced with such a calamity aka System Black in Sept 2016.

The Teals & their like will get to own that coming chaos as they do now relative to our ever increasing power bills.
So, hang on tight folks. Save your $'s to pay for those skyrocketing power costs & subsequent 'on-costs' that unsurprisingly are NOW flowing onto to every single aspect of our daily lives. Virtually nothing is immune, least of all grocery costs at the local Super Market.

It's going to be a very uncomfortable, expensive ride before common sense rises to the fore & our energy costs return to what they once were - among the cheapest in the world. Nowadays among the dearest.

No thanks to the Alarmism driven by Green Dreamers & the Teals seeking to save the planet from a non-event. CO2 is NOT a pollutant. Nor is it the primary driver of so claimed 'global warming' - where's the empirical evidence proving it so? There is none. On the contrary, CO2 is a minuscule, invisible, odourless, tasteless atmospheric trace gas necessary for life on Earth.
