Minelab X Terra Elite 15kHz: Good or Bad? (RE-DO)

The Elite is just a pro with multi IQ. Given the name "Elite" Minelab should have added a 20khz and a 40khz single frequency to match the 3 single frequencies on the pro but higher frequency for gold on the Elite. Just my opinion.

you pro'ly gonna hit that dime and nail better with recovery speed of 1, my Xterra Pro struggles hitting a walker half 7.5 inch deep with two nails on top. the update helps better tho.

Yeah, 15 khz is a good frequency. My MXT Pro used to kill it and that runs 15Khz, well until it was stolen.

What a great time to be a Medal Detector buyer! The Elite is such a capable machine at a great value thatI could not pass up the opportunity to purchase a new Minelab Xterra Elite Expendition Pack which includes the V12X Coil with Skidplate, the V8X Coil with Skidplate and the ML-85 Wireless headphones.

I wanted the elite but they sell it for 700$ here so i went whit the nokta dubble score for 450$ Almost the same stuff. multi frequency and single 15khz and fully waterproof. And the legend is 800$ here so yeah that's why i ended up whit the dubble score

Im torn , is it worth going with an equinox or just get this? would you say their performance is pretty much the same. ( i use to have a 600 but sold it and i want to get back into metal detecting)

Looks to me like this vdi is just as jumpy as the Xtp in the single frequency..

ITS NOT THE MANTICORE...BUT PRETTY DARN CLOSE..IMO😊
