Monotonous and Stale describes Sasse pretty well.

I find it interesting that Senator Sasse discusses the need to do big things while continuously falling into line with a party that continuously blocks everything with minority rule. I also find it interesting that he addresses his party and their future while fueling the fire behind the scenes.

Senator Sasse is a reasonable and decent man, but lacks the same backbone as the man who’s name is on the presidential library behind him.
