I love these videos 😍
ОтветитьI love these too, I need some more material added to the podcast, I have listened to in all about 6 times by now.
Ответить👍👍
ОтветитьHello John. How can I contact you directly. I have a couple of questions about the plant health pyramid and the products to go from level 1 to level 4.
Ответитьid love to have you on my radio show John, and also for you to come see our food forest in Kauai
ОтветитьAm writing from south africa. I am looking for a supplier of micronutrients in a reduced state. One source I have identified complexes micronutrients with lignosulphate. However there is no info on label about whether the products are reduced or oxidized. As far as I understand, lignosulphate contains some oxygen so I am assuming the products are oxidized to some degree. Can anybody clarify if a micronutrients complexed with lignosulphate are reduced or oxidized pls?
ОтветитьDo you get Iodine from your seaweed application or are you using it as an individual nutrient? If yes to the latter can you ship this to the EU?
ОтветитьThanks for another wonderful and informative lecture.
ОтветитьI might be mono gastric but this awesome knowledge leaves me ruminating on it. To build the future orchard soil it seems the seed treatment from AEA and then as mentioned, a foliar application to the cover crops at 4 to 6 inches of new growth would vastly improve this sandy thin site in Eastern Canada. I could save a full year of prep. Avoiding tillage for sure but it's going to be tricky. This year so far is a terrific growing season, lot's of both sun and rain and the last frost moved back a week or so.
ОтветитьThanks!
Ответитьinvaluable 🤗
ОтветитьJohn thank you so much for another excellent AEA webinar! Looking forward to the next one! Happy growing!
ОтветитьIs there any minerals that mycorrhizal fungi don't break down for plants very well?
ОтветитьAlso would you have a sliding scale of lbs per acre of Boron relation %OM?
ОтветитьThe comment re biological antenna function and iron is very interesting. I assume if we eat foods rich in oxidised Iron we might have a similar antenna and subsequently it may also be impaired?
ОтветитьIs it true that prize-winning tomatoes are exclusively irrigated with heavy water?
ОтветитьCan I use human vitamins pills to feed my plants?
ОтветитьCan I get all my micronutrients from sea salt ?
ОтветитьYour explanation of EDTA induced deficiencies was helpful. Thanks for another excellent presentation.
ОтветитьHi is there any way we can download these slides to read as pdf they are great!
ОтветитьI would love to hear your thoughts on forest farms.
ОтветитьJohn, THANK YOU. Your follower base in Lithuania and Latvia is growing by the day and we're leading the way. Yours, the team of BioKustodija Ltd.
ОтветитьThank you for your great content John!
ОтветитьAnother EXCELLENT presentation by John and ARA. Excellent Q&A also. Thanks sooo much!!
ОтветитьAs far as I can tell from my studies the high iron levels in tissue analysis shows up because the entire sample is used when conducting the analysis. You dry then grind up the sample & dissolve it in acid. So all the iron that is stored by the plant in its cells & vacuoles shows up which is my guess as to where the iron accumulates. It doesn’t show up in the Sap because sap only has the mobile nutrients that the plant is moving around to the growing parts which does not include oxidised iron because it’s actually toxic in that form.
ОтветитьRegarding iron in oxidized state that I wondr if endophytes can process it. ? If the plants absorbing it and it's not being used I would and am asking myself then why is it being taken up.
ОтветитьWow
ОтветитьWhich contents can be analysed by sap analysis?
Pls reply from india
Reducing those elements are easy. You add a reducing agent. Such as any acid with a low pH. Chemical reactions take time, it's not instant. So leave it mixed.
Chelation is fairly straight foward too.
Just reduce them with organic acids and it's 2 in 1, even though organic acids are weak chelates.
If you ferment sugar with lacto bacteria in a closed lid (anaerobic fermentation) of sugar, it should break down the sugar to the amino acid glycine. Which is one of the best organic chelator. PH of the mix will be low, around 2.
Hi John. Is zinc needed in much higher concentrations than iron and copper or are they needed at similar levels?
