Thank you for sharing your story, I think you are going to make it.

The answer is love, connection and bonding with others. When this is missing in your life, we turn to other things like drugs and booze.

Thank you for your honesty and bravery to tell your story and expose yourself. You identify the most relevant cause of addiction and a string of other problems spreading through society, people hiding behind masks and hiding the truth, to such an extend that they even start fooling themselves in stead of facing their demons and confronting them. Do people really care about each other anymore or has the human aspect been eroded to such levels that someone like you suffer such serious problems and nobody around you notice it! Society today has become the breeding grounds for it. And as you say; masks and more masks, the important thing is to face yourself and admit to yourself that hiding your problems and weaknesses actually just make it worse.

Hello Michael! I loved your talk and admire your bravery in going up there and sharing your truth. Uncovering masks can be hard for anyone, however, once those are ripped off, we can find true healing and peace. I'm enrolled in a substance abuse class and shared your story with my fellow peers on drug abuse. I appreciate you being an aid in my course and my life in general. Once again, thank you.
