I bet if you calculate your annual gas and maintenance costs on the gas-powered equipment, those batteries will pay for themselves.
ОтветитьMy man said "pop smoke". respect
ОтветитьThanks for sharing
ОтветитьBattery is king, in 5yrs gas will be the odd one, investment is the quality of the battery.. also can use the battery camping,if you choose the right manufacturer
ОтветитьDC has more torque. Period. Try a ryobi riding mower, ask them to let you use it for a promo
ОтветитьI don't think anybody should change all of their equipment at once I think the smart idea is to maybe just grab the weed eater first see how you like it if it works out for you grab a pole saw you know if that works out for you you might want to start looking at the electric chainsaws and edgers and mowers and all that other stuff I think you should just take it as a tool by tool basis and what brand it is
ОтветитьGreat video 👍
ОтветитьAnother tip that I would give people is don't buy the batteries by themselves they overcharge you way too much. What I do is when I buy a tool at home Depot they give you the tool only price and the price with the battery and usually they'll give you a battery and a charger for like an extra $20 so instead of spending $175 or even $250 on a battery you get a battery and a charger for an extra 20 30 bucks so just another thing to consider for anybody wanting to go electric
ОтветитьBeing in the Tampa Bay Florida area battery powered equipment is useless unless it is waterproof. We have to mow and trim and blow in the rain all the time during the rainy season.
Ответитьwhere to go to learn how to repair battery powered equipment
ОтветитьWould you recommend the Husqvarna battery pack and equipment for a home owner with 1.5 acre property? Or skip the battery pack and just use the bli300?
ОтветитьGet into ego brand. The blowers are better and the battery won't overheat. The husqvarna battery tends to have a overheating problem when used back to back. The Milwaukee brand using the m18 tend to be under power.
ОтветитьGood Batteries will always be expensive because of the materials needed to be produce.
ОтветитьI was pricing out how much the price of gas vs batteries are in my area. With gas around 2.35/L I can buy a new 12ah Milwaukee battery every month if need be. With these gas prices we’re being forced to make the switch.
ОтветитьLove the info. Great video. Very helpful. Bought a Toro 60volt trimmer just for my yard. Disappointed in the line advance. The line will not advance with a simple bump, have to pound it hard. Have taken it apart every thing is clean line is not tangled but the bump nob is very stiff even tried a little lubricant. So this video was very helpful on helping me decide next step which will most likely be a gas powered trimmer. Thank you.
ОтветитьYou done got rich hmm
ОтветитьThanks for the great info bro. I've just purchased the 325iLK with trimmer attachment and edger attachment. But my issue is it came with no battery or charger. No where on Husqvarna's website does it mention battery and charger sold separately. Chatted with customer support and was told to contact a dealer, I did. I had them order two Bli300 and a Qc500 Charger still waiting over two weeks :( I'm thinking about returning.
ОтветитьDo you think it would be possible to use a 36v Ebike battery either on a belt or backpack to run the Stihl garden tools?
ОтветитьI'm on the battery tool journey. I've got an EGO strimmer. My god! It's good. I'm slowly going to be buying in to it further. A long reach hedge trimmer, pole saw and lawn edger are on my wish list. But as you say. There expensive !! So slowly does it. I have a Dewalt battery blower which is good for dry grass. I also have a stihl BR600 blower for the heavier stuff. Since purchasing my EGO strimmer I've not used my Honda 4 stroke strimmer at all. The only thing I'd say is, I don't think battery is quite there yet in terms of power and run time for a commercial mower. So I use my Weibang shaft drive petrol mower all the time for grass cutting.
ОтветитьIf you're going to use gas powered lawn equipment, use stihl, husqvarna or commercial grade equipment especially on 2 cycle equipment. The others have too many carburetor problems. The same thing goes for chainsaws, buy quality brand so it will last.
ОтветитьWhat is the longevity of the battery equipment compared to the gas powered equipment?
ОтветитьSo one thing that’s missing here is your gas budget, sure batteries are expensive but in landscaping your biggest yearly expanse is gas. I just switched to these battery tools and couldn’t be happier. I did keep one gas unit on hand 525RX.
ОтветитьI have Ego Mower blower edger Trimmer battery love it 👍
ОтветитьHow is the Huscarvana to reload trimmer line😳
ОтветитьHi Johnny, I'm your new subscriber and just finished watching your one of your videos you are a real good guy!! Stay that way. Take care.
ОтветитьJust a suggestion… For safety your cords should not be left in a coil when in use.. It creates induction and lowers the efficiency and creates a fire hazard.. You might even feel the cords getting warm? So other than that keep up the good work and stay safe….
ОтветитьSo if you really need to finish a job you go to gas, even if its a wal mart blower or trimmer.
ОтветитьSo going over to battery how will that save you money on tax right off?
ОтветитьThanks, I'll continue to buy tools for my stihl 111 kombi system for the power and down the road I'll invest in solar trailer and battery tools, I think the customer will appreciate the lower noise, no fumes etc...$$$
Ответитьwhat's your trimmer line of choice for the husqy trimmers?
ОтветитьI only need these tools for home use and my yard isn't all that huge. Bout half a football field maybe. I switched to Ego mower, trimmer, and blower. I love them. I don't have to worry about seasonal maintenance ...... don't have to worry about getting motors running again..... or storing gas and oils ... changing fluids..... electric is WAYYY quieter... and the tools are much lighter. For the home gamer, electric is definitely a consideration. EDIT: I replied as I began this video expecting it to knock electric tools ...... but I agree with everything this guy said. Great video.
ОтветитьMy 80v atlas has gas like power love that thing
ОтветитьDo you ever plug the chargers in at your customers houses? I do that sometimes when I'm using my reciprocating saw.
ОтветитьThis video I consider to be very valuable because I was seriously considering purchasing battery powered blower as well as a trimmer. I want to be environmentally friendly, and not add to the pollution so on and so on. I have noticed that some battery powered equipment tend to be a little expensive but perhaps buying them while they're on sale might help. My one question I want to ask is this....do you personally store your riding mowers with gas in them over the winter. I purchased a new Husqvarna yard tractor over the summer and I love it. I stored my Toro walk behind mower last year over the winter by putting Stable fuel stabilizer in the tank. It started early this spring with the first pull of the string and no issues at all during the summer. Can I do the same with my new Husqvarna ? I know I probably should consult the manufacturer !!!
ОтветитьI like it corded for more power using a propane generator In a cart or wagon ,atv wheels,, there is 1000 watt generator-3000 watt . Power inverter with tractor truck marine or battery for quiet is cheaper,, ego weed eaters are good
ОтветитьWhere I live they are banning gas powered equipment . I have to bite the bullet and purchase all new electric equipment. What's the most powerful electric equipment?
ОтветитьI do DIY yard work and went all electric. Bit the bullet on an expensive Milwaukee mower after being satisfied with their weed eater, edger attachment, and dual battery leaf blower, and being fed up with my roommate’s Troy bilt mower. That Milwaukee mower is awesome. All the power without the excessive noise and exhaust fumes. I can start a side hustle with my yard equipment if I wanted to.
ОтветитьI run my Husqvarna hedge trimmer in the morning so that i don't bother people and then later I switch up to Stihl gas. Other than hedge trimmers, everything else is gas specifically because GAS provides more power.
ОтветитьWhat is the name of the support for the trimmer and where can it be bought? Thank you
ОтветитьWould you recommend a battery powered or gas powered Edger.
ОтветитьI love the battery power stuff but in order to run for any decent amount of time, you need multiple batteries of at least 4 to 6 amp hour.
ОтветитьI was a stihl br800 as well but I found a way to get more power out of an electric battery powered never thought I would see the day but it’s true I’m not at liberty to say but at any lowes or ace you can make it it is heavier but definitely more power than a be 800 I made it for 33 years and then moved because of dads cancer and well I got robbed by a supposed friend and was paying him 30 an hour it’s all good karma I’m a believer
ОтветитьThis actually is around the time I started following your channel, when you were a husky fanboy for sure, who would have thought 3 yrs on you wudnt have a single piece of husky battery Equiptment on the trailer and you wud be like Garth in Wayne’s world wearing all that sponsored rebok running suit and shoes 😂 talking bout I can’t believe how people just sellout 😂.
Now your flip mode and rocking all toro stuff riding around looking like you bout to retire from corporate toro 😂 keep it up bro always love the videos. I personally love most of the battery stuff that’s out in terms of hand held stuff
Can I charge a battery at all times off my diesel truck. It has 2 big batteries in the truck. If I have a converter hooked up can I charge a battery in between properties or will it kill my truck batteries. The truck sits for 30 mins to an hour in between properties?
Ответитьthank you for this video, i have about 15+ homes a week now. i have ego tools and love them but its always dieing, do i switch to gas or just get a few more batterys
ОтветитьI believe electric blowers, and string trimmers are exceptional. Now lawn mowers I have faced greater efficiency with gas push lawn mowers. I can’t touch on battery power riders or stand ons, but I have been researching
ОтветитьAn ego z6 is it’s 5k meanwhile other 0 turns are 30k
ОтветитьGreat video mate
