That is the most beautiful lonesome passionate song. I don't know why I haven't heard it before. I love finding gems I haven't heard from my favorite artists. This really lifted my spirits.

I was with plenty of women back when. I had many a different girls in my company all those years, but this song always stuck with me. It made me feel safe and comforted for. I can't explain it, but making a song about this precise moment fell apt for me.

Eh, I love country music but the only Willie music I enjoy is with Waylon or the Highwaymen. I just don't do this slower stuff because they all sound the same when he sings. But I still love Willie, just with Waylon and The Boys
