You are such a pain in the ass but I can't stop watching your videos.
ОтветитьThe worst are roofs, stay off them, thats my job. I loved watching that arizona rain, thats hilarious on a residential gutter
I noticed on my build home, 2 flumes were missing for the toilets. That was on my snag list, 2 x pages worth
They said " we will check the adenda"
Next week 2 new flumes installed
That cinder block wall is a child's death waiting to happen.
ОтветитьYou do understand that where the low is bid right
ОтветитьMaybe they need to adopt the old adage, "Measure twice, cut once." But that would be quality and cost them more profit.
ОтветитьThese contractors pay the traders piece work so the workers get paid by how much they do a day piece work is big in Arizona, Nevada and California that I k ow of …
ОтветитьThere's a difference between not perfect every time and someone who can't build a house that has straight lines and right angles with no leaks. FFS that should at least be a thing but no new homes seem to have that feature. As well mistakes should be fixed.
ОтветитьWish you could come check Main Street Homes in Midlothian, VA. They have became a crock of shit.
Ответитьthat's those new gutterless gutters where they just shoot the rain off, i saw it in handyman magazine Lol
ОтветитьI don't know, the old fashion clawfoot tubs looking better and better.
ОтветитьWhen everything is made of sponges
ОтветитьWe can't do it wrong every time.
Oh yes they can.
Get it right.
ОтветитьDoes anyone in your state do a good job?
ОтветитьWhoever was literally building those homes should pack it honestly they’re not good at it they’re just doing it because it’s good money but they suck at it let’s be honest
ОтветитьHouses look like 💩 crap💩
Ответитьhahahaha omg this is SO ridiculous that these builders think this sh*t is ok. it’s mind boggling.
ОтветитьThat water shed right into the entry way is disgusting
ОтветитьEvery one of these videos is motivational. I am motivated to live small, build it myself, sell my stock in sunbelt house "builders", use steel roofing, and not expect much from public offices.
ОтветитьI blame the buyers for closing on these crap homes. If a builder gets too many people angry he's ruined. Stop going to closing on a promise.
Ответить❤
ОтветитьHOW DO YOU ACCIDENTALLY INSTALL A VENT UPSIDEDOWN‽
ОтветитьA lot of the shit in these videos is stuff that even I, someone with little to zero construction knowledge, can spot before you even move the camera closer. I get that the suits probably don’t give a shit, but if I was the actual builder on site I’d be pretty ashamed to have my name on the work orders for any of these houses.
ОтветитьThis is bunch of cheap labor that has not a single clue how to work other than shoveling dirt.
ОтветитьArizona houses=foam weather proofing exterior walls with chicken wire and stucko, poorly insulated attics topped with ceramic roof tiles
ОтветитьChyna builders
ОтветитьOutdoor shower. Nice.
ОтветитьI love it, but the receptacle not allowed to be there? I don't care who you are. If I want an outlet somwwhere it goes where I want it.
Granted these are cookie cutters...
Shoked about this flimsy and thin buildings having grown up in Europe with thik and stable beton walls.
ОтветитьI don't expect them to make every house perfect every single time but they had better make my home perfect!
I dealt with builders in San Antonio Texas 31 years ago. They fixed all thd issues we had with their work and we received over are asking price ten years later because the house was so well built.
Other new homes were having severe issues.
who the fck puts fins "up"? lol
ОтветитьWe are all humans. If they can't build a proper house to match the price they're asking then it shouldn't be that price. (Make the price match the skill) Houses are being built with worse quality than ever before (indigenous people could do better and that's heartbreaking) but the prices are also as high as they've ever been. I don't mind people sucking at building but highlighting it as "lugubrious" should be a crime
Ответитьwe NEED more people like you showing how scummy these people are. Huge props for putting the company names there to so we know where to stay away from
ОтветитьJesus Christ it's easy to do it right every single time it's called take the time to double triple check. I build houses and do it aaaaaalllllll the time
ОтветитьImagine if the auto makers were legally allowed to not be in complaince "every single time" and also not required to issue recalls when an issue did arrise.
ОтветитьWhat about mold problems caused by the faulty work?
Who’s paying for that - lord knows insurance is a scam
Absolute garbage 😮
ОтветитьI can tell you who the builder is.
NewMark Homes - Diamond Court
I'd just reverse the vents myself and post online that the builder couldn't, but I wouldn't pay more than $200k for a house like this even if it weren't in the middle of a paved desert inferno.
Ответить😂 This guy is a gatherer in a hunters world 😂
ОтветитьLowest bid 😢
ОтветитьYou're plugging things in that sit ON the COUNTERTOP. Obviously the receptacle needs to be up higher, not down on the floor.
ОтветитьIts ok not to be perfect, but in thode instances you realize youre not perfect, you make it perfect
ОтветитьReality seems to be to rip off as many unassuming people as possible.....
ОтветитьThese errors are stupid, it blows my mind that they take extra time to do it wrong, and the upside down vents? 🤣 they have to be doing that on purpose, how could anyone look at that and think its ok? A 7 year old could tell that's wrong. Amazing!
ОтветитьHold on my bathroom shower and tubs are like that. I always thought odd. What is a matter with that ? How do you fix it? What does it do in long run?
ОтветитьLooks like htump standards to me. 💩 🏠
ОтветитьI think this is the first time I've seen a video with an exterior wall, aka pricacy wall....or where I live mostly retaining walls.
I believe you'd be proud Cy, our back retaining wall (old) came down in a flash flood situation. It was 8ft tall and over 70ft long. I did not do the research and trusted the company we hired. They used cement. For me the problem wasn't the cement, the problem was they wanted to work on it in damp or rainy conditions and would move to next steps before the first pour had even settled. I now have a complete split in the middle....the company went backrupt (surprise surprise) and we are screwed. The wall looks like a wave....it's awful.
Any way back to the proud part. 2yrs later we decided to replace the landscape/front retaining wall on our split level home. This time I did my research. In fact I spoke to an engineer, I spent time with the city inspector, I made sure I knew what the code was....and that I followed it to a T. And we did it ourselves. The block we used wasnt like the flat in this video. It was interlocking, extremely heavy. I drew up full plans, had a last consult with an engineer....and then rented equipment. The wall at it's highest is about 4 to 5ft tapering down to ground level as it curved opposite the driveway towards the sidewalk. In our city code requires a certain type of installation once you hit 4ft....defintely no cinder block.
I'm proud of our wall. Its about 40ft long. I ripped out my front yard so that we could make sure the drainage was in correctly and used a type of geogrid for stability.
Long story short....it cost a total of 2500 for all items and rental machines. My hisband and friends did the heavy lifting...I just kinda directed. I did the leveling etc. That wall is solid. It's been up 9yrs, the retaining wall done by a "professional" 11yrs now. It had issues starting from the word go. Mine will be fine for a very long time.
I was once working on repairing work on a house in a big development and the owner was telling me this story of his neighbor who had just bought the new house next door and had gone in the front door and pushed it closed behind him only to have the entire door assembly, jamb, sidelights and door completely fall out of the opening and land on the porch.
He called the builder and complained, said he was going to sue him and the builder said, Get in line!
