See in my opinion you did things the easy way I would have done things the hard way and the more fun way You see I would have called the superintendent and told him all about how my son is being expelled not suspended expelled for pushing a kid who was beating on a kid in a wheelchair and that the principal allowed the kid to be on the kid in the wheelchair because he found it funny and when my son pushed him out of the way to stop him from beating on the kid he found that as a violent act and decided to expell my son as an example I guarantee you with an at least a week at least that principle would have already been removed from the school I know cuz I've done it before when my pseudo little brother was getting beaten in school I say suit a little brother because he wasn't my biological little brother but he was like a little brother to me I took care of him when we were at school well anyways this kid wanted to beat on him and I beat the hell out of the kid The principal tried to expel me for physical violence so I called the superintendent and while adding a few things I told the whole truth within 2 days the principal was removed and within three we had a new pencil Don't f*** with a guy who is very protective and will happily lie even under oath that someone's doing something illegal

I would've asked my son if he wanted to swap schools and that afternoon got my son icecream and get breakfast the next day. I wouldn't be surprised of the kid beating the guy in the wheelchair was the principles child because the details were "not important". Also it doesn't seem like the principle brought in or punished the kid beating up the kid in the wheelchair. You handled it perfectly. This is what good parenting looks like. Not to punish for being good but to praise when they are good and to punish when they are bad
