As a retired building contractor time and money were always in short supply. I agree with what you said, you don’t need to spend a ton of money have enjoy the great outdoors! I have taken numerous deer over the years with the cheapest bows I could afford. I am currently shooting 5 year old Diamond Edge SB-1 and it fills my freezer every year. Thanks for putting out some great videos!
ОтветитьI’ve been looking at these ever since they were released. Great video as always! Would be a blessing to be chosen for the giveaway.
ОтветитьI’ve been eyeing this bow hoping to add it to my Hoyt satori for hunting!
ОтветитьHey Man,.. I dig your channel. Great reviews ,Non Biased & genuine. … Merry Christmas and happy new year
Ответитьsuper review mate. honest, straightforward and fun to watch. whoever gets this bow can be very happy. it's just a good all round bow. Thank you for the review and a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Kind regards 🇳🇱
Love the reviews. Your Omnia vid sealed the deal for me and I ordered one a week ago. On a side note… would you mind straightening out the turkey plaque? ;)
ОтветитьTotally correct about the Bear brand being more of a blue collar brand they don’t go crazy with their prices like other brands
ОтветитьKeep the reviews coming, Merry Christmas
ОтветитьJust ordered mine today and I’m pumped. Have had an early 2000s Hoyt that’s killed some nice deer. Just could never justify spending $1200 on a brand new bow and that not including anything for the set up. Shot my friends adapt last week and couldn’t believe how great it felt shooting around. I agree on the review out past 60 I could slightly feel some give here and there but with time could see being more confident. But 50 and in was shooting dimes. I think they nailed it. I get it’s not the fastest or latest greatest tech. But that wasn’t their goal. Their goal was to stick to an easy to tune but well shooting bow that someone could order and go kill a deer that same day without having to go to an archery shop because they’re having a headache setting up. Really loved the review and shooting the bow looking forward to getting mine next week. Awesome job Bear and THP guys.
ОтветитьI just went back to bear wanted a solo cam again always liked solo cams better got the species ev might pick one these up also
ОтветитьI am starting to get back into bow hunting and your videos have been a huge help for me, keep up the awesome videos brother
ОтветитьThe carbon bows now are 1,700-1,800. I like bear but there usually on the slower end for speed. My first bow was a bear!
ОтветитьMan that’s a great bow i have a bear. Assault. That’s at least 13 to 15 years old It has a ton of shots on it ! and it’s Starting to go down hill But if I had a dollar for every shot I took with it I would be rich lol 😂
ОтветитьCan you review the Hoyt VTM 31 please?
ОтветитьWhat draw weight was on that bow buddy?
Ответить320 is fast. 25yd deer ain't gonna know what hit him lol. That bow is smooth
ОтветитьHey man can you recommend a good carbon arrow to use with this bow a link would be great or a make model of a good arrow and a good tip for hunting I'm new and learning please get back to me cheers.
ОтветитьGood job on the adapt 👍👍👍.
ОтветитьIm still shooting my bear legion. All I need to have fun without alot of money invested. Spent more on my sights and stabilizers than I needed but still like to be able to adjust draw length and draw weight without spending money.
ОтветитьLove Bear archery! You should review the Bear Legend XR
ОтветитьOk that it gonna be subscribed to your channel 😂 this is first video and look forward to watching more. I am kinda of leaning forward beat adapt maybe a bit higher end on bear now not sure yet. Keep it up.
ОтветитьI got the bear adapt the other day I'm definitely struggling I wish had a person like you to help me how do you measure draw length please give me some advice
ОтветитьLove these reviews. I'm interested in getting a bear archery bow. No pro bows stocked near me. For a pure 30 yards and under bow whith comfort on shoulders in mind, which bear bow would you suggest.
Ответитьi just put better shock absorbers on my bow limbs mine is silent does jump in the hand alittel bit but if your half a man you be alright
ОтветитьThat's funny you mentioned Matthers old solo cam...I run a Matthews LX looking at getting new bow...really looking at the Adapt...do you need a bow press to adjust draw length?
ОтветитьTrying to get into bow hunting here in Australia I think you may have sold me on one of those bows thanks for the great info opinion and content keep up the awesome work
ОтветитьI’m new to archery and will be picking up an Adapt.
ОтветитьHuge help. Well done. I had pretty much settled on the Legit or more likely the Species EV. But I shot these against an Adapt at my local shop. Now the Adapt plus hunting public is out. I believe that is going to be the ticket. This vid helped a good bit. Thank you.
ОтветитьThe only thing I don’t like about this bow is the axel to axel is to long i like mine 30 A to A or less
ОтветитьHave you shot the adapt + yet? I just ordered it seems like it’ll be a little smoother than the original.
ОтветитьCan you review the bear species I know it
Like the adapt but I like the shorter ata
Now you figure in, you can get the complete setup for $629 w/Adapt Plus....they are going fast....Hotwire 3 Pin is $200...V Biscuit $80...Saves you about $100...Hey....
ОтветитьIM 56 PARTIALLY DISABLED, WANNA GET A BOW TO SHOOT, BACK SURGERIES I HAD 9 I CAN PULL 60 LBS BUT SEEM LIKE 55 IS GOOD, I WENT TO LOCAL SHOP BUT PRICES ARE LITTLE CRAZY, YOU HAVE ANYTHING USED IN YOUR FLEET
ОтветитьI have the adapt and it is probably my second favorite bows I have had so far I did have a bear arena 34 before and I was better with it but I also have gotten better with the adapt the longer I have it. Definitely a great bow that is more affordable. I did put a cable roller on it and upgraded my peep and will be getting a different rest after season but definitely worth the $560 I spent for it more or less set up. Great video wish I would have seen the give away for this bow but I am now following on insta and and subscribed on here keep doing it. I eventually want to buy a used omnia but price is just too much right now for me . I work construction and have two little ones with a third in the way. Hard to justify $1500 on a new elite . Keep up the budget bow reviews man. Great stuff
Ответитьdo you know of a bow with a better score for the same price?
ОтветитьI know this is an old video, but choosing between this vs the Diamond Edge 320 which would you choose?
ОтветитьHey brother. Viewer from down under here 🇦🇺 Buying my first bow, been watching alot of your videos lately. To be honest, i was pretty set on the THP bear adapt, picked that over the hoyt torrex, but then i watched your alaskain review. In your opinion, which is the better bow if you dont mind me asking that in. Public forum. I will hunt in a year or so, but out of the box with a few upgrades like stabilisers, etc, which would you pick. Cheers, brother, I love the videos and the feedback is easy to understand for a newcomer like myself
ОтветитьWould you choose this over the Legend XR?
ОтветитьWhat stabilizer are you using here
ОтветитьYou said that most of the bear bows are similar in noise. Also, a good amount of vibration. How would they compare to a 2007 PSE Nova? 😂 I’m really desperate for an upgrade. Need help deciding between the Adapt+, Legend XR, or Alaskan XT! Please vote!
ОтветитьGetting back into bow hunting again after a very long hiatus and definitely leaning towards the Bear Adapt after watching lots of videos. Still have to go shoot it though to see how that goes. Is it worth upgrading a little bit extra to get the adapt plus to get the extras it offers?
ОтветитьBow hunters are peak human
ОтветитьThey're a great bow for the price. I've been shooting one and have taken and heap of pigs here in Australia. They're no rocket ship, but for the arrow weight I''m using (500grams) it does it well. Most shots are under the 50m (56yrd) mark and I've had no issues with quite a few pass throughs. I'm a fan on single cam bows, and this model rocks. As a note; I'm running a 60lb bow, thought about the 70lb but I'm getting old (53) and this thing is a great bow. I hunt with blokes running way more expensive gear and we both do just as well as each other (the old adage rings true: "its the Indian not the arrow". I think Bear have nailed it with the components, they're nothing flash but the do the job. Well done Bear.
ОтветитьCan this be shipped to EU?
ОтветитьI love my adapt, ain't a deer in the US it won't harvest. It doesn't take a 2000 dollar bow to hunt, those bows are for the ones who want to brag and be for show
ОтветитьHey Brandon I have the adapt Plus, I keep running out of room with the sight it comes with Trophy Ridge Hotwire 440 grain arrows px10 parallel easton , I run out of room at 60 yards, any suggestions is that the bows limit?
ОтветитьThere seems to be a fair amount of emphasis on the noise a bow makes. I've heard about critters "jumping the string" but is it really possible for them to do that? If I have the numbers right (I'm not a math wiz) it takes about 0.08 seconds for the sound from a bow shot to arrive at the target at 30 yards and 0.33 seconds for the arrow at 270 fps, which leaves a quarter of a second for the critter to hear the sound, register the sound as a danger, and execute the jump. How often does that happen? One other question. Is the objective of muting the sound of a bow to prevent the target from hearing it altogether or to make it quiet enough to where it doesn't startle the target?
ОтветитьHow do you change the draw length on the adapt? Not finding any info on adjusting it.
ОтветитьWhen I pulled back the adapt, I knew it was a contender. The bottomland camo was so cool I had to pull the trigger. Thanx for the video, it’s nice to know I made a good choice. I’ve been killing deer since 1980 with a bow.
