Ответитьfinally an English speaking Indian cook! I'm British pakistani and I get so confused with all the punjabi urdu videos. girl just needs a home girl like u to tell me what the foil is for 😂 thanks babe x
Ответитьof all the biryani recipes i looked at in the past years..yours look so easy...i'm definitely going to try ur version. i'm from the caribbean so getting all those spices might be a challenge for me ...but i am going to see where i can get it. we do have the cinnamon, cardamon, clove, nutmeg and cumin...the star aniseed is what i may have difficulty finding, but i hope i can get it. thank you for this wonderful recipe.
ОтветитьNice i love biriyani
ОтветитьIn my childhood I always said birani (bee-raa-nee
ОтветитьHyy Vijaya don't we need sm powdered garam masala and a bit of chilli powder?
ОтветитьNice video. Nice presentation. Nice recipe. Thank you.

ОтветитьI really appreaciate your cooking channel , easy to understand n follow... thanks
ОтветитьOur girls pediatrician is also a good friend of ours. Taking our girls to her house for midnight doctor visits, she was always cooking and that’s where I learned to eat with my hands. And why not?
ОтветитьYum
Ответитьomg this one is SO GOOD! k so its me priya from dubai, but on my husband's account who has the same name as you LOL. i always thought biryani would be so difficult to make, but u make it easy girl!
Ответитьbtw please post a sambar recipe, its my fave and i cant get it right!
ОтветитьHi Vijaya. Can I use ground spice instead of whole? Or would it turn out weird? My child is very picky, so just wondering??
please let me know
Thanks.
I love your videos. I never cooked . You have really motivated and inspired me to start cooking , your methods are easy to follow. I have cooked this Biriyani and turned out delicious, I was really surprised, I expected a complete disaster lol . It took me longer than 20 minutes to steam rice . Anyway thank you so much
ОтветитьDo you have a Khichuri dish?
ОтветитьI made this today and it was absolutely delicious! Everyone loved it. I just added some potatoes to the recipe. Thanks so much! Going to try your other recipes :)
ОтветитьI land up on your channel whenever i am hungry..!!
ОтветитьI just made this... My first time making anything like this. Omg it was sooooo freaking incredible. I used drumettes, cherry tomatoes and a rice cooker instead of a dutch oven, but otherwise followed the recipe as close as possible. I even made the onion yogurt. So insanely good and easy! Will be making again and again! THANKS TO YOU AND YOUR MOM!!! I'm Filipino-Canadian so I didn't grow up with Indian food at all. I'm so grateful I can learn from creators such as you.
ОтветитьOmg Vijaya you smashed it!!!! Big up to your mama really good recipe 😘😘😘😘😘👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 I wish I could give you thousands of thumbs up
ОтветитьMy favorite..... there’s this Indian restaurant down the street from me that makes the best Biryani. I have not been able to copy it. I’m gonna try your moms recipe. If I like it, I’m gonna call it Matas Rice at my restaurant.
Request. Can you do a video of vegetarian version? Pretty please with cherry on top? Just leaving out the chicken always leads to a fail because meat has a special property that makes things taste better. But I’m making a health restaurant so I need a substitute for meat. Beans?
I was looking for a biryani recipe from u n couldnt find it. Then this popped up!! Can you tell Im excited?!!
ОтветитьMade this for dinner tonight, came out delish! Quick question tho: how did you get the biriyani to be that beautiful yellow color???
ОтветитьCan i use a non stick rice cooker to cook this rice, tq
ОтветитьFROM THE SOUTH OF INDIA ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE RECIPIE (LIVE IN THE UK) 👍👍👍
ОтветитьWow. Just watched three of your videos. I am going to try all of them. Awesome. Please make more of your videos.
Ответитьi like all your videos very well choreographed and short so its easier to follow you while you cook
ОтветитьI am not a fan of clove or star anise, does the dish suffer if I leave those out?
ОтветитьLove watching all your recipes! I'm wondering what size dutch oven you use in your cooking?
ОтветитьWhat brand of basmati do you use? It comes out so perfect!
Ответитьgreat video Vj!! ❤ Thank you!. P.S You should try yogurt and shredded cucumber. In my opinion that's much better than Yogurt and Onion. :P
ОтветитьThank you very much. My kids love it!!
Ответить2020 and I am back to cook Biryani for the new year's eve I think this is like 4 years in a row lol I am loving this. Thank you Vijaya for the recipe <3
ОтветитьI am so doing this ... quick question ... how come you don't use the saffron in this but you do in the shrimp one?
ОтветитьBeen having indian week, tried vijayas tikka masala, butter chicken, palak paneer.. now off to biryani!
ОтветитьVijaya I'm eating your Chicken Biryani now and it tastes heavenly good that it makes me happy. I mean there's something in the combination of spices that gives a good feeling. It's my first time to cook Bashmati rice so I soaked it first before preparing the other ingredients that it got oversoaked haha but still the product taste heavenly. I'm gonna control the soaking time next time. I forgot to add the star anise and I used five pieces of green kumquat instead of lemon. I'm eating it now with a sweet cold green kumquat juice on the side (not the yougurt-onion salad). Thank you!
ОтветитьI volunteered to make chicken biryani for my friends bridal shower. I already followed your butter chicken recipe a few times and I loved it. I'm planning on making four cups, this is when things start to get a little confusing, do I double everything since you made two cups of rice?
ОтветитьI'm going to try this tomorrow in Cayman island 🏝️
ОтветитьHow much of water did you add? (Including the broth). I’m scared that I’ll add less or too much water
ОтветитьCame out so Gud thank u
Vijaya.. my South Indian sister 🥰where r u🥰
I made this and it turned out PERFECT......Thank you for a New Family go to...Superb...
ОтветитьThis recipe was requested by my Wife's Coworkers that I cook for them again for the 6th time. This is such a solid recipe. Thank You again.
