Oh Marek, you should be given a medal for bravery! Driving on English roads is pure hell, for normal Europeans 😆 It's good that you didn't have to drive in a big city... where every turn is "damn... which side should I drive on" 😖 Mini has always made interesting cars, but the suspension... is only suitable for the roads of Monaco, perhaps only your Countryman is the best of Mini 👍

I think to say our roads are bad is a bit of an understatement. Shocking, would be my word for them.

In the UK we dont just drive on the left, we drive on what's left of the roads !

Ok every year, I glance at the autotrader at Mini convertibles as a second car but then realize I live downtown and only have space for a single parking pad.....unless I get rid of our garden... do you think the wife would notice?

Next time you're over, come up to the North of Scotland and go for a blast on arguably the best roads in the UK :)

Welcome to wrong side of the road-land, glad the sun shined for you, we've been having some warm weather lately! I like both Mini, which suits our 'B' roads.

At 46K and knowing it falls apart - never.

I love Mareks reviews every week. He’s still my go to for car advice before I buy or eye up my next purchase.
I’ve always loved the minis having had 4 x countryman’s but I’m still unconvinced with the new shape.
The new shape mini although still too small for me gives me Suzuki Swift shape vibes and I still prefer the previous shape and interior design, where the latest models are very stark. There just seems to be a steering wheel and a LP sized LCD display and that’s it.
The Aceman seems pointless and I personally would always gravitate towards the countryman (Keep hold of yours Marek, it still looks better than the new one)
It’s great to see Marek in the UK and experience the winding roads, which are great for the mini go cart driving experience and as an added bonus for me, I always like to see which watch ⌚️Marek is sporting. Perhaps in the future he’ll do a watch review as well.

Interesting fact about this car is that it has two exhaust pipes.

The 3-door JCW in Canada starts at $52,000 (33,290 EUR). At that price point, it's $500 more than a GR Corolla and about $9,000 more than a GTI.

The JCW fills a very specific niche of someone who wants a hot hatch, doesn't want AWD, manual or a GTI. Or, it's for someone who really wants a 3 door hatch lol

Welcome to the UK Marek. Glad you got used to the roads.....and driving on the right side :-) Hope you enjoyed your stay in the Cotswolds as much as I enjoy Warsaw.

One benefit of the electric is that you can plant your right foot in town and not get noticed. Now of course, the 18 year old me wanted to get noticed, but the, lets say, more mature me prefers the anonymity.

Oh, planting your foot is much faster in the electric around town as well :)
