If feel like he read “Modest Proposal” and agreed that it was a good idea for poor people to sell babies as food for money (instead of an obvious dark comedy).
ОтветитьI went to prison. After that I learned to appreciate the value of law and order. I learned to respect the law and their enforcers. I learned the value of life itself. Just wanted to say this because I believe there is no respect for law anymore and less respect & value for life.
ОтветитьDid the student actually justify killing the “savage” because his morals are superior? I wonder how the other classical liberals feel about the implications of that statement.
ОтветитьI would just ask him to define what he thinks rights are. I would personally define them as entitlement absent duty. And to be honest rights don’t exist. They are granted through force. Without a force to back up the right. It can be taken away from you by another or another force.
ОтветитьShe killed it
ОтветитьThat’s right. A strong, CATHOLIC woman 😊
ОтветитьCongrats, he is now on a watch list
ОтветитьI'm ok with the kid wanting to keep order. He's a lil confused but he's got heart for safe structured society. Put him on the wall, but keep him out of the counsel says I
ОтветитьHe talked so fast i stopped listening 😵💫
ОтветитьThat right there with Rose is a perfect example of just what The Holy Spirit can do in each and every Christian. Praise God, can I get an Amen from my Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
ОтветитьI don't know if it's just me. But when someone says something like "where do we get our rights from?" I always start thinking of Bible verses.
But how to dismantle any argument:
Step 1: Ask a clarification question. (Ie. What do you mean by that or some variation of that?)
Step 2: Ask how'd you come to that conclusion (or some variation).
God bless Nate.
Lila Rose is very patient, I saw her on jubilee as well debating 25 pro choicers. Nate, have you thought about going on MDD or Jubilee? Would love to see how you would do in today's debate world. God Bless!
ОтветитьI’m curious if Nate has seen the James White and Corey Mahler debate. It seems like a ridiculous topic that they debated on, but I think it’s important to discuss since quite a few follow what Mahler is arguing.
ОтветитьYeah, that kid is okay with taking out people who are deemed... Unworthy, or unwanted, and he'll be of that opinion, until someone else decides that he is on the removal list. They always are. Ask Solzhynitsen (SP?)
ОтветитьLove Lila ❤
ОтветитьRights come from us, pure and simple. If no-one is willing to use force to ensure your right to whatever, you don't have that right. The force is what makes it a right, and we are the source of the force.
ОтветитьAsian Dexter?
ОтветитьI feel this gentleman read this straight from Google or used AI This question is not coming from him but something that he has read . Young people are very brainwashed in secular colleges or even Christian colleges . I don't understand what his point is ? I'm very confused is he there to debate or learn from Rose . Pray for the youth in this country so many mixed up people .
ОтветитьThis young dude, despite his gift for fast talking, had no chance. I hope he is in deeper thought than he was before this conversation, and that he really thinks about his positions before he speaks strongly on an issue.
ОтветитьThat's what the Hebrew call pilpul .. the question that bring down all argument. JESUS used this all the time
ОтветитьIt’s legit upsetting that this guy who is clearly thinking deeply about the issue hasn’t been informed there’s a difference between killing and murder. Our society is morally illiterate.
ОтветитьDid you just rip one when Lila got that guy on rape? LOLOLOL
ОтветитьWithout God you don’t have any rights
ОтветитьMay God open the eyes of the blind
ОтветитьGod is Infinitely Wise, Infinitely Loving, Infinitely Righteous, Merciful and Forgiving - it makes perfect logical sense to listen to Him and do what He says - He would never tell us to do anything wrong or unwise because those are the very things which have led to the despair, brokenness and moral disintegration of society throughout world history and it will continue for as long as there are men whom view themselves as wiser than the Creator, to whom they are all ultimately morally accountable - whether they believe it or not.
ОтветитьHe doesn't realize when he says he thinks his morals are better and he can kill someone for not abiding by them, he is setting himself up for the question 'why can't someone just do that to you then when they think their morals are better than yours?'
ОтветитьFor evidence of true objective morality having its foundation in God, one only needs to observe those whom seek to depart from Gods' natural and moral design in the universe, in pursuit of what is unnatural and immoral in the sight of God. In my experience, these are often the people who like to posit "there are no such thing as objective moral values" - largely due to the love of sin being of more value than doing what is naturally and morally Right. God does not need to respond to human sin because it is built into Gods' moral framework for humans to suffer the affections of their 'own' immoralities, should they decide to continue 'in' them.
ОтветитьThis man absolutely validates Romans 1: 18 - 20. The rejection and suppression of the truth of Gods' nature and will, ultimately leads to futile thinking, Idolatry, perversion of God intended design and relational-moral brokenness. In his own attempt to suppress the truth, he unwittingly validates the truth of The Word of God concerning objective morality.
ОтветитьA quality college education right there... and a case study on why to raise the voting age.
ОтветитьI don’t know what to think about this type of reasoning when it comes to objective morality… I get the feeling that it takes advantage of the fact that people immediately respond with strong emotions when someone questions basic moral principles (like whether rape or murder is wrong), and no one wants to be the one to take that position. But just because someone is a moral relativist, it doesn’t necessarily mean they believe every individual can have their own moral standards and that no one can be judged for them. A relativist can acknowledge that within a society, having a unified moral framework is useful and necessary to avoid chaos, but that doesn’t mean it has to be the same in every era or every culture, or that it stems from some absolute that transcends time and culture.
I’m not a moral relativist, by the way — I agree that morality originates from God — but I don’t like this line of argumentation, because I feel like it traps the opponent and makes them look like a complete idiot, without actually proving its own point. It relies solely on triggering the emotional reactions of the audience.
“Objective truth doesn’t exist and that’s objectively true” - Atheist
Paradoxical nonsense
I would be fascinated for your take on the recent Matt Brown interview.
ОтветитьWhy shouldn't we belittle their insanity?
ОтветитьProfessing to be wise, they became fools
ОтветитьThis one was a little hard to follow on your end.
ОтветитьMy friend, if the whole room starts to laugh before you can answer a fairly simple yes/no to a moral dilemma. . .pack it up bud, your logic is cooked. . .
ОтветитьDude literally tried to compare Dresden to abortion? That's a new one for me. YIKES
ОтветитьHave you watched her Jubilee segment where she took on a room full of pro-abortionists? She was spectacular. She was kind, compassionate and full of grace while dismantling all the arguments presented to her.
Ответить"I haven't spent a lot of time thinking about that." This is so clear when atheist get pressed.
ОтветитьI’m a Christian so I agree with her and you. But I don’t think this is the knock out you think it is. I think it’s very easy to get there intellectually. If I don’t agree that a fetus is a human then her argument breaks down. And we murdered millions of innocents in WW2 and aren’t charged with war crimes. We can say we didn’t “target” civilians but if you drop and atomic bomb in a city full of innocents then at that point it’s just semantics. And we’ve had functioning societies for millennia that didn’t have the same moral standards as the current west. Even biblical hero’s had sex with “underage” people, and had slaves and had concubines that weren’t allowed to say no which both we would consider now to be rape. If I don’t think that our rights come from god and there’s no “absolutely” right and wrong but there are societal wrongs and the best and worse ways of running a society and it lines up with western values I don’t see how any of that is a slam dunk or even very compelling. The argument for god isn’t that it helps create the best societies. The argument for god is that is true and makes the most sense. But if I didn’t believe in god I don’t find it difficult at all to get to a functioning society where we all agree murder and rape and theft is wrong and would be punished. In the same way functioning and biblical societies long ago had different moral standards we would think were reprehensible. But they were agreed upon standards that were slowly changed over time. I just have never understood the moral absolutism Christian “burns.” It’s not compelling to me. And I’m a Christian and believe in god given rights and value. But logically don’t need god to get me to that conclusion. She’s doing a good job of making her argument and the kid is in over his head. But so far I would have a logical non-god related answer to every one of her push backs. To me if I was still a non believer none of this would move me an inch or make me change or even make me think my answers weren’t perfectly correct. I do like the content tho and find most of your videos really great and helpful.
ОтветитьThis kid is almost reach the level of a “probable cause”-based investigation.
ОтветитьShe was awesome ❤
ОтветитьAhhh hold up
ОтветитьLila Rose is an absolutely amazing lady. She is a classy, gracious, and adept debater as well as a fantastic advocate for the unborn. Not to mention an excellent woman of God. I’m co glad she’s on our side!
ОтветитьIn your opening you said "Lila Rose destroys a pro-lifer." I don't think you meant to say that sir.
ОтветитьUnder the premise that abortion is wrong because it's always wrong to kill an innocent human being, though, how does that allow God to kill people as fetuses?
ОтветитьFast taking. Punctuating every sentence with “yeah”. He wants to be destiny so bad haha😂
ОтветитьI would love so much to join the masterclass but I can't afford it. I know it's going to be a blessing and I wish you all the best with it Nate.
