If you are not going to be using the back seat, I though opt in for delete seat (also removing top layer of the floor trunk). That would give you 40% more space

Bro, tbh, If was me, for the price you gonna pay for an 2022 Prius XLE, I was going to sacrifice me with couple thousand dollars more and get the new Toyota Sienna. Besides more spacious, also comes standard with hybrid. Trust me, is a big difference. The MSRP is starting 34.000. I am telling you that because I have the same plans in the future, was wondering which car to get. Was considering Prius, but Prius is sucks with space for living. Btw, nice video!

Nice car how many months was the loan for 36 or 54 months? I also buy my cars outright in cash but thinking of getting a new one but not sure about the months length of the loan to get. Curious about the lengthy of the loan you got but with a high down payment that helps a lot. Congrats on the new car you deserve it with the amount of traveling you do bud.

Found your vids while searching for reviews on the Prius Prime and been on a deep dive ever since. Car market sucks so much atm, I just settled on putting a down payment for a new one to be built and get it at msrp, since all the lots that had one had a 6k+ mark up. Amazing content man, stay strong.

the transmission in the Prius is called eCVT, but it has nothing to do with the CVT, it's a completely different concept. Look it up.

I've heard of people having trouble with the new prius models not wanting to go into that climate control mode to sleep in it over night?!

My credit was shot too because of unpaid hospital bills. The key is to show you are making payments on your car and get a credit card if you don't have one. Make on time payments on that. When I bought my car my credit score was 821. Your dad cosigning is a big deal because he's taking a chance with his credit. Your dad loves you and wants the very best for you. My dad cosigned for me too.

I'm so happy for you. And your Dad's a very good man. Quick tip, during the break-in mode of a new engine, hard braking, flooring the accelerator and driving long periods of time at a constant speed is not good for it. You want to seat the piston rings, and prepare the brake pads slowly.

Congratulations :) I LOVED my 2019 Prius LE. Best car I've ever had out of probably 8 brand new ones, and 10 used ! I also made a living with it. Then , 2 weeks ago it was stolen, then found completely destroyed :( However, I just bought a 2022 XLE just like yours :) Whoo Hoo ! SO glad to be rolling in a Prius again :) Oh, and I also do a lot of car camping, and cross country trips :) And OMG ! CLIMATE CONTROL all night is the best thing one could ever imagine !!! Or, could not imagine, if they haven't owned a hybrid :) Love, LOVE my Prius :) Getting my full tint job this week :) Oh, and you should look into a polarizing film for the windshield (not tint, but goes on the same way) HUGE difference in glare, especially at night on wet roads, plus reduces a TON of heat coming through the windshield on hot, sunny days.
Oh, and as for stereos !!! I built the most awesome sound quality system I've ever built on my 2019 LE. Took up very little space. Had a VERY strong 8" sub, 800wt, 5ch amp, but stock HU running into a Digital Sound Processor... Total cost, only about $1500. Worked so well, I'm building the exact same setup again, starting right away.

PS, as for the guys that stole my car.... My initial thought would be, I'd like to break their knees with a baseball bat. However, when I really think about it, their life probably sucks ass. Good chance they are addicted to drugs / alcohol, likely homeless (going by what I know) :( Almost certainly, they are not as blessed as I am. If it were up to me that they could 1) be caught, and do time in jail, or 2) get their lives turned around, and become a benefit to themselves, and those around them, I'd choose the latter.
