if you can afford it buy a benelli m4 if not then really anything benelli is good so go with that , however most shotguns pump mainly but generally the older the better, Jerry miculek has alot of luck with mossberg shotguns so if its good for him it's probably good for you 😉

i need a shotgun got personal defense. I carry lots of expensive equipment/gear with me for work. It is highly valuable and I need protection for myself. I want something not too cumbersome, something for close quarters and easily moveable. Any suggestions?

A shotgun is NOT an effective PDW! It's long, which means it isn't easily aimed. It's shot spreads, which means it damages your house. That's just two.

Oh, and if you believe you can fire two rounds to scare off intruders, you're not only deluded, you're empty!

Sidenote about a missed product by Magpul. Though top of the game with your products, I only found one company that has made + has available, at least at the moment, a QD swivel mount for your SGA stocks (Mossberg) that mount between the receiver and SGA stock grip. I just think it's a bit ironic that a provision was made for the SGA stock, but, someone, 🙄, missed the mark, on remembering to make a Magpul QD version. 😅
Also, the only, nitpicky complaint, about the SGA is,.... It needed to be molded with a slightly bigger mouth, so the trigger assembly can be removed, without the need to remove the stock. But, nothing a little time with a Dremel can't fix. 👍
Sorry, just had to twist the, plastic knife, abit. 😅
Although, there are such a huge range, of Fantastic products made by Magpul, it's understandable, to miss the bullseye, every now, and again. 😅
