I'm not holding my breath. Nothing jumps out to me that really sets it apart from other titles. Shiro games did do a decent job with Wartales and listens to their community, so there's that at least.
ОтветитьI like the ship builder, its like Starfield, the rest of the game feels like every space-survival-game, like Space Engineers.
ОтветитьSo... Basically this is going to be EVE but slightly different... Maybe you can build your own ships rather than buy/build set ships.
I love base building games but I despise PvP.
I don't mind PvE fighting, but humans just annoy me.
If they turned off PvP (Or had PvE servers) then I would consider it, otherwise I would just go back and get super annoyed in EVE.
Take a look at dyson sphere program.
ОтветитьLike the survival building aspect but not a fan of those type of games being MMO's. If closed, friend only, or privet servers can be made for this then I'd be very interested.
ОтветитьI personally find that there's a lack of actually good space games so this is welcoming news
ОтветитьThis has strong "The Day Before" vibes.
ОтветитьMMO. No ty.
ОтветитьThanks for the video Ant.
This made me think of Eve-Online, I miss it.
Give me Eve-Online as a single player/ co-op.
I would never come out again.
Will I finally have a Space Hame where I can live 3h per day ???
Ответить[$GameTitle] is an open-world, survival, crafting PvE[vP*] MMO where you -blah blah blah.
I'm very tired of the survival craft genre, and I'm over the always online requirements, and this game, just based on what's been put out there will just flounder to launch.
I am surprised you don't cover sci fi TV shows/films ect in this channel
ОтветитьWhelp, I'm out. Online only, pass.
ОтветитьI know it's an old forgotten boomer approach but, will it be optimized?
ОтветитьA good game has to be at least 50/50 when it comes to grind vs. real gameplay. I just can't get into games where grinding for resources or other things needed to play becomes what you're dreading just to get to the things you enjoy doing.
Ответитьis this going to be another ~5000 player count non consent PVP game? They are all over the place and dead. Its 2025 and non consent PVP is just old LOL
ОтветитьSo.... They're basically just copying Space Engineers 2?
ОтветитьI just wish for a mix of Space Engineer, Satisfactory and KSP. Building spacecraft from modules instead of just block-by-block as in Space Engineer, the elaborate factories of Satisfactory, plus a realistic orbital mechanic like in KSP.
ОтветитьShiro Games? Sorry, I'm going to be very wary.
ОтветитьCool but just like Starfield, I ain't going to care until it comes out, this all means practically nothing.
ОтветитьY’all remember dual universe? Yeah me neither
ОтветитьUnfortunately community games tend to be annoying but if it is pure coop instead of lazy pvp to have players generate the gameplay by having none i may try it.
ОтветитьLike most of the community, no one cares any more about "flavor Text" of what a game "might" be. We will believe it when we see it.
ОтветитьOversaturated? Ahahahahaha most of fhem are garbage, we need more and better games
ОтветитьThe market is over saturated with zombie games 😂
Ответитьi really hope this isnt an MMO or forced online. Can we play solo or with friends?
ОтветитьI'd like to point out, the developers "Shiro Games", make some pretty solid games like Northgard, Dune Spice Wars, and Wartales. This seems a bit outside of their wheelhouse, but because of some of their past products I will support of them, I will keep an eye on it.
They even continue to support Northgard and just released a new faction/clan in December 2024, the game came out in 2018 so they show support/longevity of games they've developed. Out of 8 games released on steam, only 2 were "Mixed" and the other 6 were all "Very Positive."
The market may be oversaturated with space games that all miss the mark in one way or another. To have a full, accurate galaxy like ED, but with all planet types unlike ED, along with a realistic building system, which nobody gets quite right would be a masterpiece game. Oh, and no loading screens, this is 2025, Starfield. We will see if they can pull all the best stuff together.
ОтветитьWell, most of their games is liked so I think there is a good chance at a good game.
ОтветитьA corporation game .... not focused on PVP... ... ??? Arr.. i see the bounty .. of the endless sea's ... the pira.... i mean the Privateer life for me... 😈 fly the Colours high .. let them see [☠️] . And we will send them to Kafulu's locker.
ОтветитьI am an indie game dev, what sort of games would you like to see?
ОтветитьSounds like another game that I will follow and not buy until released and reviews say it's a completed game.
ОтветитьYeah, it reminds me of Freelancer a bit.
ОтветитьWe have a lot of space games it's true but we have a lot dinasty warriors, a lot of call of duty and a lot of battlefields and football games as well. Now, finding a good game which is not abandoned or clunky is hard to find. Because so many space games are not that great in the end or we feel like they're missing something or like they're too simple or too complicated.
ОтветитьAll modern space games require you dedicate your life to over-complex Economics, Rank and Politics all shove you into working in clans/groups etc.
I have been waiting for something simple, that I don't have to book times with online friends or indeed have anything to do with other people.
I just want to sit down any time play for a half hour or a full one, then go live real life.
They are games...
All games from now on like this should be banned from release until there at least 95% finished, I'm sick to death of early access games that are half done and then never seen through to completion.
Steam are complicit and involved in letting game developers just rip players off and running away with players money after only doing or completing half of development .
We need a no man's sky but with better more realistic graphics with better ship modularity and building. So you can make a vast array of ships where no two are alike. This could be it.
Ответитьoooh looks cool i wishlisted it!
ОтветитьI wait space eng2, if it suck,i come back
ОтветитьThey could really do something good with this. Also they could make it a subscription. Time will tell.
ОтветитьThe market is saturated with functioning identical spacegames with very little improvement on the keys aspects that need improving ie:
Intuitive building systems
Expansive lore
Varied quests
Distinct locations
Factions
Variable playstyles
A thriving social ecosystem
and most importantly a progression system
Listen i love a sandbox game but being dropped into outer space functionally alone being able to build anything and everything from the jump but having no idea how but from a narrative and mechanical perspective is a bad design choice.
People love minecraft. People would love space engineers if it was intuitive. The biggest problem with SE is I cant do what I can do in NMS and the biggest problem with NMS is I cant do what I can do in SE and the UI on both is terrible because NMS decided to lean on an entirely alien progression system as a narrative device and SE requires an understanding of engineering that usually takes a college degree and has a totally optional and not very user friendly tutorial system.
The steam page says online pvp
Ответить"No Man's Sky" with shipbuilding? (cue Elvis Costello/Robert Wyatt song of the same name!) 😆😆
Ответитьi think we need more space games that are polished and complete.. not half made games lol.. right now we have a decent amount of space games but alot of them are nowhere near complete
ОтветитьPass. The teaser looked nice but I want that feeling I had in the 90s when I played WCII and WCIII not an online scifi builder, which is what this looks to be.
ОтветитьI'll buck the trend here - I actually think controller support can at least support good hotkeying practice. I recently got a gamepad controller this year to play Yakuza and later Monster Hunter, but actually I've used it for a ton of other RPGs (and even multiplayer Guild Wars 2 and Warframe); vehicle sims (ace combat, racing, trucks), and even puzzle games like Cook Serve Delicious, an indie quicktime cooking game. By contrast major releases like Frostpunk and Civilization had barely any keyboard hotkey support, which is annoying for everyone. Controllers can remap to use keyboard buttons; if the inputs aren't mapped, nobody can do anything at all!
Obviously we are all sick of poor ports that aren't graphically optimised for PC, but honestly? Controllers might be the $50 saving me from wrist carpal tunnel this year, and with properly implemented input buttons, then designing for controllers is actually just designing for everyone.
out of all the space survival games I played in the last 5 years Empyrion Galactic Survival is the best I found because they don't force you into cities or wars. you are alone on alien ground with animals bugs and aliens looking for you. you have constructors starting with one in your suit each bigger and stronger. but you need raw materials too and the only help you get is from the constructors themselves. (robot builder type thing) I hate survivor games with zombies just because it takes no brains to make one. team survivors are the same, copy and paste. but this one was made different from the word go. and I appreciate that.
ОтветитьPlease no PVP, give us something with a heart and soul, it does look awesome i must admit, something intersting to play inbetwen Star Citizen downtime. I do think it wont be long before another publisher brings out a Star Citizen competitior, dev has changed greatly since 2012. Nice to see an emphasis on KB+M as joysticks get lame after a while, and unless your playing DCS/MSFS2024 you dont need joysticks, keep my Virpils for DCS.
ОтветитьCan you have Main Base or Mother Ship that are a moving base?
Ответить
