Why all the experts are hiding a simple idea and goal is to provide level field ground to global south. There is only one hurdle is single country reserve currency threy don't need seperate institutions they only have to make available a alternate multi currency basket for economic activity in case of disagreement on certain topics with the West. The day this alternate is demonstrated the current institutions will be compelled to reform with considering global South expectations. So this alternative has partially demonstrated that is the reason they attract so many countries. So now G20 will be the platform to percolate this idea so the West also has a big role to play. But brics will not allow West to interfere till the date they have established this alternative. It's that simple so same institutions with reforms and equal say for the drivers not a driver.
