Allen's opening line in this film is not among his most brilliant.

Davis was nominated for Best Supporting (losing to Marisa Tomei) not Best Actress. You'd think this easily Googled fact wouldn't get past whomever did this.

Awesome movie-I love Judy Davis-

Judy is described as passive aggressive .... she always manages to get what she wants. That's called Manipulation.

The camera work is very off-putting especially in the opening scene with all the jerky movements...Allen's self indulgent whiny side is annoying...his fixation on young women is also disturbing in retrospect...Juliette Lewis and Judy Davis were excellent..the scene with the astrology-obsessed bimbacious girl friend is both brilliant but also disturbing because of the verbal and physical violence...have we not all had a similar experience with some pendulum swinging, new age, woman? Oh I almost forgot to say that I think Allen is a genius in script writing with psychoanalytic insights.

This one is so great. One of his most subtle. Mia Farrow and Liam Neeson are specially great.

Judy Davis, BRILLIANT! well, everybody is brilliant in this movie.

I don't understand why some people are so put off for the camera, especially in the beginning. The craziness of the camera goes hand in hand with what was going on in the scene.

Great movie. There was also some swearing in Manhattan. The F word is used a few times.

For me, this was the last great Woody Allen movie.

My favorite Woody Allen's movie.

I love when the character says "They are trying to have an intelligent conversation and you are jerking off about tofu and crystals."

I agree, just loved Judy Davis! This movie will always be one of my top ten…

I sometimes forget this film when I think of Woody's best, and I shouldn't. There's some excellent character readings in this, not the least of which is the "passive aggressive" reasoning present. Probably his last film based partially on where he was in his life, it's an excellent conclusion to that chapter of his filmmaking.
