Setting up Multi Queen Hives

Must bee no trees out there on the prairies, there is virtually no propolis glueing those things together.

Now that is slick... I was wondering why 6 frame .. also wondered how you kept them from out growing the box .... they looked super strong ... then I wondered why you didn't use them for honey production.. that's pretty good idea ... there thanks for sharing great stuff

Neat little system of maximizing the use of nucs. I wonder, do you ever notice any “drifting”? I mean, does it appear that the bees will always go back down into the nuc they started in or do they move to another colony?

Do you have trouble with the bees picking the stronger Queen and killing other or even others very often? I tried it over each other couple times and they always kill top Queen ,this is way better their working together better but does this happen still alot ?

When do you nucs move into standard boxes?

As experiment I've run duplex hives as two colonies. They're side by side 4 over 4. 8 deep frames can support a colony. They make honey too. They share supers and dont fight. Might have to do all my hives that way because it works. At first it was nucs that got too big too quickly but after the success I've been trying it more. It makes a lot of things easier for an old beek.

One question do the nucs ever swarm even though they have room for nectar up top?

wht are the precautions when doing this method with big hives?

Wow, six on six, you are going to have a massive colony with hundreds of thousands of bees.

Does this change how frequently they swarm in any way?

Do they requeen? If a queen in one nuc dies the pheromone of the queen next to them will be strong enough to make them believe the queen is still there.

Have u ever used multiple queens in a colony by removing the queens mandibles
