I had a similar horrible Audi experience when I went in to buy a Q8 and came out with an e-tron that I let them talk me into (my fault for letting them). It was my 4th Audi and I had bought from this dealer before, but this time it was horrible. By the time I got home with the car, I was so p****d off that every time I looked at the car I was furious. 25 days later I just couldn’t look at it so I took it to the other dealer in town and traded it in on a new Q8 that I love. The difference in treatment between the dealers was like night and day. I can’t say enough bad things about the first dealer. Obviously, trading in the e-tron was a terrible financial decision, but I’m glad I took the financial hit and just moved on.
ОтветитьWas it Audi of Gainesville in FL? They are complete junk and will lie and waste your time.
ОтветитьSo let me get this right, you got upset cause they would not ship you a 160k car BEFORE the check cleared? You then get upset cause they would not reduce the price more?
ОтветитьQuestion, if this was you as the owner of a dealership, would you do the same? Hold the car until check clears?
ОтветитьThey wanted to wait for the check to clear before they shipped you the car out of state seems fairly reasonable, there are a lot of scammers out there who impersonate people
ОтветитьAll these negative comments are so funny. All the major auto and motorcycle dealerships have a way of knowing if the check will clear instantly.
ОтветитьWhen I was in my mid 20's, I went to the local Ford dealer for a super duty. The sales manager said I couldn't afford it, and kicked me out. Came back one hour with a briefcase full of cash, put it on the counter, and said "F you, you lost a sale of a $50,000 truck" That was a lot of money then.
ОтветитьWhat's the issue? I gave up.
ОтветитьBought a ton of cars. The Audi dealership was the worst.
ОтветитьFirst world problems. This video is pointless. The dealership isn’t going to expose themselves to a financial loss of $160k.
Instead of whining about it, you couple have helped them process the transaction……
Dealers are a dying industry and I look forward to them no longer existing.
Have you heard "doctors are worst patients" ? It seems like you did show off a little by saying you are chevy dude and know the inside secrets of dealerships and then demanded $5k off and then threw tantrums because they said they will wait for the draft to clear (which is fair, it's a high end car), I do not see a problem with the dealership. only small thing that they did not do right was follow ups, they forgot to update you on developments
ОтветитьMan you hated that dealership you worked for……..or they really hated you and you just didn’t know it
ОтветитьSounds like the wife is the problem…..😂
ОтветитьDo a video of the survey.
ОтветитьJust got a new bmw best experience I had
ОтветитьThey don't care if you've done 7000+ car deals, to them you're just another buyer to abuse!! Get over it. 99 % of all dealers act like that!!!
ОтветитьI drove my Equinox off lot same day and they had a Navy draft check with maximum limit.
ОтветитьMike I’m not sure why you’re so upset that they wanted to allow your check to clear. That’s not treating you with disrespect. Did they agree in advance that they weren’t going to wait for the check to clear? I really don’t get that
ОтветитьHow good does it look in a small town to drive around in a $160,000 car? You also claim your money doesn't come from the dealership or your shop which is going to make everyone question you anyway. Buy what makes you happy if you can afford it and don't worry about what everyone thinks
ОтветитьNarcissistic world we live in......
ОтветитьThe RSQ8 is nice !!
ОтветитьI think its an Audi culture thing right now. Whenever I take my car to either Audi dealership in my area for service, they treat me like I'm an interruption to their day.
ОтветитьEvery dealership works the same, they all rake you over the coals. There's nothing noble about being a car dealer.
Ответитьyou are a complainer... great negotiations skills LOL... I want $5000 off --- NO ... ok sorry LOL. I would handle this deal better than you. You are an amature.
ОтветитьAlways be ready to walk away from a deal. There will always be another.
ОтветитьMust have been MAG dealers in Columbus Ohio. These idiots should not be out in public unsupervised.
ОтветитьJust curious why you chose to leave the "Franchise New Car" dealer lif to an independent lot in a vary small town? Seems like you are putting yourself in a FAR worse spot long term.
ОтветитьThis guy is a real whiner. Either that or he is whining so he can make content like this. The selling dealer is just being careful so they don't get scammed. Con-artists are getting more sophisticated these days. He wants preferential treatment because he is a dealer that post videos on the internet. Then he instantly ask for a $5000 discount, which he wouldn't give to anybody buying a car from him. Also, most cars don't have $5000 margins unless you are selling supercars. I use to be a dealer too and customers are not always right. There are some real terrible customers who complains about every little thing just so they can get a discount. If they want perfect cars they can go buy a new car instead. They can't afford it and that's why they go to used car dealers. I remember this Indian guy offering me $16K for an NSX with 88K miles. This was back in 2003 when higher mileage NSXs were $23-25K. I wouldn't accept that price and I paid $18,500 to acquire it. He got real mad and walked out. Then he started emailing and bashing me. Saying the car didn't sound right and I would never get $23,500 for it. This went on for a week and I finally stopped replying. About a week after that I sold the car for $23,500. The guy already has a NSX. I doubt he paid $16K for it. He sounds like a car flipper.
ОтветитьThis guy also said in the Corvette video how dumb people pay way over sticker, just so they can get the car earlier than everybody else. 10 days and he is already complaining. Dealers these days are afraid of being scammed, so that's why they want to wait until the check clears.
ОтветитьExcellent video Mike! I own my own business and giving great customer service is such an easy thing do. Not only does it make the customer happy it makes me happy and they tell all of their friends about my business and I have never had to advertise or do any social media. All of my business is referral business. These crooked car dealers need a jolt and I'm glad to see you delivering one.
ОтветитьI've always found it strange that there is so little protection for consumers when purchasing an automobile. There are countless predatory pricing laws and anti-gouging laws across this country but but some reason it's an accepted practice when it comes to car sales. When two differnent people can walk into a dealership at the same time, purchase the exact same vehicle (same trim/accessories, everthing), and walk out having paid wildly different prices, the system is, in my mind, unethical and should be illegal. When a savvy/educated customer may be able to negotiate a decent deal but a less educated, perhaps overly trusting person can be horrendously ripped off, there needs to be changes. I've always wondered why legislatures, at the local/state/federal level never seem to address this issue. The whole thing is a colossal, out in the open scam, and no one seems to give a dam.
ОтветитьYou need help….typical car guy thinks he has an ego….finds out he’s a clown
ОтветитьThis is standard procedure at my dealership, and I work at an Audi dealership. Of course, they wanna wait until the fund's clear. This is a big purchase!! You're just upset because you got treated like 99% of everyone els.
ОтветитьWhat dealership was it? It would help your viewers to avoid the same thing. True disruption to the industry starts with showing bad businesses that they messed up.
Ответить100 grand cheaper and it is the same car?
ОтветитьThe check’s gotta clear. Not unreasonable. Kwityurbellyakin.
Ответить🙄
ОтветитьSo he got a taste of his own medicine. ok, got it
Ответить😂
ОтветитьThis was 2019 I saw a 2006 Lincoln Town Car advertised in the newspaper for 6,000 drove the car and I was ready to buy, with my brother the minute they changed salesmen, and he walks us in and says lets get some figures here, figures the car is 6,000 I figured they might say knock of 500. Well, the minute they introduced the business manager, I told my brother lets walk this is the start of their game. The car went from 6 thousand to 11 thousand in seconds, wow isn't that amazing!!! And I saw other customers dealing with them, and I almost told all of them to walk they are playing a game, and you will not win.... This is a very large Toyota in Davenport Florida and let me tell you it's not a Miracle at all, its a mirage.
ОтветитьI have a question. You say big dealerships lie to customers and you said you worked for one for a long time. Did you ever lie to a customer or mislead them?
ОтветитьHey Dude, can you move your dealership to Florida?😁
Ответитьseems like an over reaction from you. I hate dealers, but left this video actually taking their side.
ОтветитьI love love the RSQ8, tune and downpipe make it amazing. I wish I could afford one, one day
ОтветитьI would think that once they found out you owned a random car lot, they wanted to make sure they got their money. First and foremost. Seems totally legit to me.
ОтветитьYou're a good dude, in this dealership industry you're one in a million
ОтветитьCustomers are not always right...they ARE the customers though...Love your video
ОтветитьOne of the best car videos yet!
ОтветитьNobody has owned several lamborghini Urus'
ОтветитьI was trying to buy a Lincoln Continental and the dealership said that if I didn’t buy it… somebody else would. That still irks me.
