They are spending on dead outputs, when you spend on wages or non physical assets, then you don’t actually have anything that would not actually see return on investment, it’s an absolute waste of taxpayer money

1.2% rise per employee surely costs a large chunk of the budget (thats shes also cut) of these bodies?

I think Reeves almost makes Liz Truss look like a genius. Was a budget ever so badly thought out with regard to the overall effects and long term consequences that will result... I suspect not, for she seems not to have considered far beyond what she was going to do, and never mind the consequences.

As a retired ex nhs employee i can say with a high degree of certainty that putting more money into the system will not cure the the nhs
It is top heavy with ineffective and inept non clinical staff that are not required
Most of their days are spent promoting diversity and inclusion at an enormous expense that the nhs just does not need
The other depts like procurement just throws away money like its going out of fashion they never seem to be able to to buy any thing at reasonable prices

Reeves doesn't know what she is talking about. Reduce NHS costs by making it more efficient, half of the budget is lost through compensation for neglect & bad practice. She has already caused wealthy job creators to leave, businesses will employ fewer people so unemployment will rise, spending will go down which will increase the inflation circle of diminished spending, her idea of growth creation is on schemes like carbon catching which is not lucrative. She doesn't want bank regulation yet that led to the last economic crash This is only firm footing in comparison to a man with one leg & a walking stick. She keeps blaming the Tories for the deficit yet nearly a third of the budget is spent on illegal immigrants with no realistic deportation policy. Remember how the last Labour government left a note "Good luck, there's no money left". The only successful Labour government in Britain's history was in the early years of Blair's right wing approach. There is nothing pragmatic about any aspect of the current Labour shambles who gave massive pay rises to Union workers which vastly exceeds any saving by removing the pensioner's winter fuel payment. Revs also talks about benefit assessment (better judged by GPs), I reported a neighbour for claiming housing benefit despite having a man working full time living with her, the response was "All we can do is ask for entry which she can refuse" - I pay my own rent although I am a disabled pensioner. Labour should do the only sensible thing & deport those here illegally with speed, it is the only way to avoid a certain financial crisis, but Starmer puts the country in a security risk (confirmed by MI6) as he plans to furnish homes for people who have no security checks. I predict Labour's authoritarian, incompetence will lead to riots with Labour having to call a new election. If I was young & healthy I would leave.
