Earlier I saw a video where hunters had posted on social media calling for people to come to a hunt to cause trouble and violence. The sabs phoned the police and reported this, but did the police do anything to prevent a "breach of the peace" then? Nope, they let that continue.

The Police are in on it certainly. The recent case at the Barlow Hunt proves that, when an illegal hunt and subsequent kill was filmed, they denied it. The CPS dropped the case despite this because a high-ranking local police officer is a member of the hunt.
