How come there's no love action version of the little mermaid yet
ОтветитьFun Fact: there was originally going to be a third Rescues film 🎥 to be released, but due to the box office flop of The Rescues Down Under and the deaths ☠️ of Eva Gabor and John Candy (voices of Miss Bianca and Wilbur) in March 1994 and July 1995, it was canceled.
ОтветитьAlso, Beauty and the Beast was released on the same day as the An American Tail sequel, An American Tail: Fievel Goes West, on November 22, 1991.
ОтветитьThe Little Mermaid is my favorite movie of all time ❤️ It would be a crime to remove Part of Your World. And the part where King Triton turns her back into a human gets me every time
ОтветитьA lot of people say the Lion King started the Renaissance, but I have to disagree.
The Little Mermaid started the Renaissance, and the Lion King was the peak and end.
R.I.P. Howard Ashman (1950-1991)
ОтветитьYour forgetting the Sebastian puppet series from Jim Henson
ОтветитьHaha, Howard went Beast mode on Kirk Wise and Gary Trousdale.
ОтветитьNovember 1989, November 1990 and November 1991.
ОтветитьThe reason why The Rescuers Down Under was a failure was because it came out at the exact same day as Home Alone.
ОтветитьThe little mermaid is ok I don’t really like it
ОтветитьMany people have passed away so far
ОтветитьI bet Sea Princesses was inspired by The Little Mermaid
Even Polvina herself can basically be Ariel
About the bubbles in The Little Mermaid, those were all drawn and animated in China at the time but during the production of the film, the demostration at Tiananen Square happened and there was the dilemma of USA speaking against the chinese government for fending of the protesters and the cells of bubbles were stuck in China, therefore the directors and producers of the film were concerned not getting their bubbles for the film, therefore risking of ruining it. Thankfully, they got their bubbles. This was told by John Musker and Ron Clements in the directors' commentary for the film.
ОтветитьThe design for The Beast started of with Chris Sanders (who later would become a character designer for Mulan and direct Lilo & Stitch and later left the studio when John Lasseter rejected his story ideas and characters for American Dog, which would result into Bolt, to work for Dreamworks, directing How to Train Your Dragon and The Croods) designing severeal chimeras as the design for The Beast, even making ones based on insects. Glen Keane used Sanders' chimeras as inspiration for making the design of The Beast when those designs weren't approved.
ОтветитьBeauty and the Beast was released on the same day as An American Tail: Fievel Goes West
Ответитьin honor of the little mermaid remake
ОтветитьWhat about Flounder? Do you know who did the voice of him in the original little mermaid 🧜♀️? And I learned that Originally, a deleted character named Breaker the Dolphin was going to be Ariel's comrade, but he was replaced by Flounder in the final film instead.
ОтветитьFun fact: there’s actually a Han Christian Anderson inspired movie that mixes live action and animation. It was Rankin/Bass’ theatrically released movie, The Daydreamer. While the movie’s live action bits concerns a teenaged Hans Christian Andersen (known as Chris) running away from home, the stories from that author come to life through stop motion animation whenever Chris daydreams. Rankin/Bass’ stop motion technique is dubbed Animagic
ОтветитьThe little mermaid an beauty and the beast are my favorite Disney animation movie
ОтветитьWalt Disney animation studios + I’m gonna put a new one
ОтветитьBeauty and the Beast had its world 🌎 premiere on November 13, 1991

We hope you’re enjoying The Disney Renaissance Express. Join us as we hop on a magic carpet and fly to a place called Agrabah. Then we will journey to the Pride Lands and find our place in the Circle of Life. Then our next stop is 1607 where we meet a Native American Legend.
Fun 🤩 Fact: The Little Mermaid was released on the same day as Don Bluth’s animated movie 🍿 All Dogs Go to Heaven which is November 17, 1989 but All Dogs Go to Heaven wasn’t successful at the box office upon its release then The Little Mermaid was, I think 🤔 the Disney movie 🍿 beat out Don Bluth’s movie 🍿 again but All Dogs Go to Heaven was successful when it was released on home 🏡 media a year later in 1990
ОтветитьThe little mermaid-bolt
The rescuers down under-bolt
Beauty and the beast-bolt
i will watch beauty and the beast soon
ОтветитьThe Little Mermaid did so much that was different from all the fairy tale stories Disney told, by fleshing every character out enough for audiences to relate to them and find them interesting. Something that was never done in older movies with princesses and a trend of which continued with every Disney fairy tale movie that followed.
Ответитьyep mermaid and beast next week
Ответитьwatching Little Mermaid Tomorrow and beauty&the beast on Friday
ОтветитьFun fact according to Paige O Hara it took them a long time to actually cast the beast and a couple months into her recording they officially cast Robbie Benson and they actually allowed them to record together.
ОтветитьI'll be watching beauty and the beast again soon
ОтветитьYou know the Beast also has the jaws of a lion 🦁, the teeth 🦷 of the wolf 🐺, the horns of of a buffalo 🦬 and arms and claws of a bear 🐻
Ответитьbeauty and the beast Friday also I can't believe its the 35th anniversary of the little mermaid
ОтветитьWDS: "Crap, we forgot to make Cody have a true Aussie accent!"
