It's funny how some of the greatest artists didn't/don't like or didn't want to do their most revered projects. This one example and both Method Man and Redman said they didn't/don't like certain projects they did that most fans consider some of their best work. When Method Man did Tical, apparently they had to redo a bunch of songs and they didn't come out the same after a flood where they lost a bunch of music. He said it was too rushed because of contracts etc and he was in a dark place in his life. Redman said he doesn't like Dare Iz a Darkside because he was in a real dark place in his life with drugs etc... With the 3 of those and other examples as with a lot of art - pain and desperation often makes great art, where the artist doesn't even see the vison but other people around them do. R.I.P. DMX.
