As someone who's been bullied all through my school years, it gives you grit. As a mother of two now, me and my husband are going through the fostering process. I'm not going to lie I've had some self-doubt and lacked a bit of self confidence. Until I sat down with my dad (not the best role model but human) and he tells me, oh you're still going through with fostering are you? I don't know why, you don't like the kids you've got. So the age range you're going with will be babies, the stage you're worst at and don't even like. I'm surprised they're even going to give you a kid, let alone siblings.
My dad only sees me when I'm over his which is a small portion of my time. And the stage that he was referring to? I had bad postnatal depression with my first child aged 20 recovering from surgery but not with my second child. That was one of the lowest points of my life and he has thrown it in my face. I'm not going to lie, I phoned my sister and cried after that conversation and I did for a split second let his words knock me. But then I got fuelled by his words. None of what he said was true and I let those words slap me? No. I've had enough people trying to feed me their own opinions of what they think my own truths are for me to swallow anything. I know myself. I have clawed my way up from rock bottom on my own and I'll be damned if someone's going to tell me I'm not standing tall enough. Thank you for the verbal slaps and beastings, I nearly forgot who I was for a second there. And I'm a badass mofo.

Yes there are soooo many haters out there. Alot of these fucks wont say anything to you they will act like everything is cool but they secretly hate you and want you to fail. They are the biggest pieces of shit on this planet. Fuck the Haters!!!!!!!!

Haters are Jealous of someone’s work and don’t have anything in to do life, whenever I got hate comments on my different channels I found it funny for people to go out of their way to make someone’s day sad, honestly haters are just people with anger and hate to get their anger out on people it’s just sad people who don’t have anything to do with their life

I have been dealing and fighting with hate comments for months, they are just so annoying and I just can’t handle them anymore.

I realized I don't need to care what haters say to me. For a while, I'd been beating myself up, and nobody would ease up on the shaming. I was once taken to my boss's office with her and a high-ranking chef. The chef told me that I've been touching my coworkers too much ( casually, on arms or shoulders). I was always very outgoing and tactile at work. She told me that we need the workers to be comfortable in a good work environment. That I shouldn't talk about anything other than work and school or tell my stories, because they may be inappropriate or upsetting (can't remember her exact words) to others. Now yeah, I pretty much didn't have a filter, but I don't think I said anything horrible. I only meant to have fun with my crew. I really didn't get specific information from the chef about subjects and references. She likes that I'm outgoing, but she made it sound risky and needing limits. And again, that I shouldn't touch anyone without consent.

I didn't mean any harm or discomfort. If I had known anyone would feel either, (though technically no one showed signs), I would not have touched them. And anyway, people casually do it to each other. But despite my side, whenever I expressed my story on YT videos, commenters would still make me feel bad, as if I didn't feel bad enough. "Well, you shouldn't be touching coworkers" or "You sound like a creep" or "The workplace is not where you act that way." I thought, "Why can't someone just respond to my story and shame without talking about my wrongdoing or correcting me?" But you know what? It's okay. It's their problem. I owned mine. I own if I made anyone uncomfortable, and I would make it up to them if I knew whom. I don't think I'm a bad person, and if others do, who cares? It doesn't matter what others think of me, it's what I think of myself, and I think I'm a good, conscientious person. I just made some mistakes, but I'm gonna forgive myself for them.

Well... there are a unique breed of haters than cause you major life problems in adult life that can cause serious consequences. Generally, hater motivation is based on jealousy or envy. Based on experience, they can cause you a police investigation for a false allegation, ever heard of the term swatting. They can cause you trouble to the point so as you lose your job, your family, and that's their goal. Haters are not to be taken lightly as portrayed. Your only defense is to know whom they are and avoid them and whom they associate with at all cost.
