Beautiful knives😍😍😍 are they in 12C27 steel?
Ответить220 EUR for 12C27N with wooden scales? C'mon, Mora! Don't break my faith in you...
Ответитьwhat stainless steel are they made of?
ОтветитьFirst I would like to say that I like Mora Knives very very much.
But: The prices... how this prices are composed? Is it because of this recycled steel? Hardly likely.
A Mora 511 costs around €6.00 - €7.00.
In the future, "Ash Wood" could also be a term for how to get money out of people's pockets.
Mora will also turn the price screw on the standard models.
And there is probably another very simple market analysis by Morakniv... let's assume that 2 - 3% of 100% potentially interested buyers cannot resist.
These 2 - 3% would be enough for Mora to be successful with this series.
In addition, there will certainly be discounts on the Ash Wood series quickly. For example, instead of 200.00 "only" 170.00 €. Many fans will buy... and Mora rubs his hands because there is still more than enough profit to be made.
Market economy can be cruel.
Sehen sehr brauchbar aus......sollen meiner Meinung nach aber unter 150 Euro kosten, aber gut, die Preise laufen aktuell quasi überall aus dem Ruder.
Stay sharp & Peace
What's with the price jump?
ОтветитьYour charging 2-3x vs similar knives available. I’ve owned many Mora over the years and its my most trusted fixed blade, but I’m not going to be taken advantage of just to be brand loyal.
Comunque belli!
ОтветитьWe are overwhelmed by all the feedback from you, and very happy that so many people are engaged with our products! We hear what you say, and we listen. Thank you for getting involved, it gives us the opportunity to develop and improve. Greetings from the knife factory in Mora, Sweden. 🙏
ОтветитьThey look great. But the price is outrageous. You can buy a Sami handmade knife for around 90EUR, and a carbon steel Morakniv heavy duty Companion for the dirty work(16-17EUR) if necessary.
ОтветитьBoo
Ответить220€!!!!!😞😞
ОтветитьI'm so disappointed in the direction this company is headed. I'm sure these are good knives but there are many vastly superior knives at this price point. When you build things that last a lifetime "recycled steel" is an unnecessary gimmick to attract more gullible customers. Using sly marketing to sell an average knife at premium prices is a betrayal on your hard won reputation as a sensible and reliable company.
Ответитьmake where the Finn will strike a spark and then I am in.
ОтветитьI like this new “Thunberg woke Collection”. Beautiful knife at least they use real ash wood and genuine leather. But please don’t go all the way woke mode. We believe in you Mora.
ОтветитьMora, please do not mess up your reputation by pricing these at those extreme prices. Either bring the price down or the material quality up. Peace and love🙏
ОтветитьIch brauch es nicht.
Ответитьnot for those prices
ОтветитьYeah… 200 EUR for a mystery stainless steel… I can buy a handmade customize drop forged knife for that price.
ОтветитьDid you guys make these because of my video on the mora garberg? Because when I said you should put wood handles on a knife I didn't say to then charge double after lol! 🤦♂️
ОтветитьOverpriced for what it is!!!not worth money, stick to basic models.
Ответить50$ knives TOPS. Made of cheap materials. You’re drunk.
ОтветитьI love Mora… we’ll have to see about that price though.
ОтветитьTaking into consideration price tags 180-220 EUR you're intending to reach for "recycled Swedish steel", "sustainable materials" and other hipster crap, hope you'll come back to your roots before someone declares bankruptcy.
Ответить"Never did we look for the easiest path, the cheapest materials, or the fastest process"????
How can you make that claim when you're literally a mass production company churning out thousands of knives using very cheap (average) steels with plastic handles & sheaths? & this new line is still using the same cheap 12C27 steel as a €15 Mora.
Seems strange that Mora keeps spamming the exact same copy & paste replies as well. Why not put out a statement, or at least address the overwhelmingly negative feedback?
Seems like virtually everyone that's happy with the pricing are Mora affiliates/shills who stand to make money off them.
Cannot wait to get one
ОтветитьI hope these prices I'm hearing isn't true?!?!
ОтветитьNope, not buying it. I am not paying that much for those materials, design, and a cheap looking sheath. For $20 more I can get a Bark River in a longer 3V blade.
ОтветитьI love my moras for the good quality and for the prices that everyone can use them . But this is tooo much money for knives like that !!! 👎
ОтветитьDo you guys plan on releasing flat grind model of knives any time soon?
ОтветитьWAAAAAAY OVERPRICED. I can get better knives for less. Unfortunate how high these are priced
ОтветитьGood folks back at the factory , no one has the 122 knife nation wide in the USA , that pattern is a must have for us !!! Please make some & send some for our suppliers !!! AMAZON ETC...
Ответитьever heard of a cash grab? i call it the mora garbage line, because its made from garbage... the price is garbage, the reputation will become garbage... you catch my drift. soon enough, some Chinese company will recycle you.
ОтветитьMora is like apple..presenting things that are standard for years like something new..oh and the price? Really? Cheapest steel at higher price than the garberg?
ОтветитьNot just no, but FUCK no. Have your noses grown so much? Moneygrabbing bastards.
ОтветитьExcuse me— did he say “Quality takes no shortcuts”? Isn’t that exactly what Mora has been doing successfully all these years?
ОтветитьMaybe one day they will become affordable like your other wonderful knives.
ОтветитьAs someone who enjoys bushcraft and plenty of cooking the rombo looks like an excellent choice for me personally, I like the traditional look of this cleaver as it reminds me a bit of a seax. Although as people have said the price is a bit much, however I can think of many "custom" knives from other companies with a similar price. I have enjoyed the effortless cutting of my mora wood carving knives enough to see that these would certainly be a quality addition to any woodsman's collection.
ОтветитьIt is very expensive, for nothing special!!! the blade is not even of a very good quality steel!!!
ОтветитьI have some Morakniv, 1 Garberg, 1Kansbol, 1 Eldris, 1 Compagnon MG Carbon, 4 Compagnon MG 12c27 and a 711. I think this ashwood models are to expensive for me. But i like the Look from this knives, and I'm a Fanboy... I dont know... Greeting from Germany
ОтветитьYour absolutely crazy to think people are going to pay that much for these. Absolutely will not.
I lost alot of respect for Mora knives.
Recycled materials 🤣🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьMachine made! £210 for one of these in the UK! Sorry, far to expensive! My Esee 6 didn't cost that!
ОтветитьDear friends and family,
Today, we gather to honor the memory of Morakniv, who has passed away from the terrible and sneaky disease called marketing greed. We come together to celebrate his life and the impact he had on all of us.
Morakniv was a manufacturer who during all his life made it his mission to bring quality but affordable knives to the masses. He was always eager to help others and had a kind heart that touched the lives of many. He was so strong that even the far eastern land that makes everything and cheats on everything, could not beat him. It's a shame that his demise came from the inside, from this organ called marketing department.
Although we are saddened by Morakniv's passing, we take comfort in knowing that his legacy will live on through the memories that we hold dear, and the impact that he had on our lives will never be forgotten.
Morakniv, you were a gift to us all, and we are grateful for the time we had with you. Your spirit will continue to live on in our hearts, and we will always remember the joy and love that you brought into our lives.
Rest in peace, Morakniv. You will be sharply missed.
I hope you will provide as for EVER made in Sweden products!!! Thank you for the quality ! (Made in Sweden always mean value for money 100%! At least thats my opinion!!!)
ОтветитьSo you've basically copied BPS and added a supersteel price tag
ОтветитьMorakniv Finn. The small knife. The sheat is not good. It is easy to push the knife in too long, and to cut the sewing threads on the leather sheet.'The sewing thread on my sheet is cut, and hanging loose. The knife without sheet is very nice and sharp. Morakniv is aware of this , but I do not know if they are going to compensate us customers.
ОтветитьWell, I have to say you could have marketed this line quite a lot better and be more transparent with this product; It would still be very significantly overpriced, specially if the steel is the same as in the companion stainless.
Don't mistake me, those knives are gorgeous and being full tang and having wooden scales is a huge selling point, but come on guys, the companion line and similarly priced stainless knives are good quality-price. They are inexpensive and a superb quality for that, but these are all the price, but it's not balanced by the quality, boss. Ash is not a particularly pretty wood even if quite tough, but this entry level steel is THE slap in the face to the customer. It doesn't matter it's recycled; that's the same quality and a good practice to reduce pollution, props for that, but nothing in this world justifies that price tag even if the production had more hands on it than on the usual injection molded handle knives. Please don't go that way folks
Here’s my question. Rather than putting these knives on at INSANELY higher prices than your previous models, while they’re made out of RECYCLED MYSTERY STEEL, why don’t you just take your most highly praised and sung models — like the Garberg and the Kansbol — and give them an optional SUPER STEEL UPGRADE? 😃😃😃
You have any idea how many people would come SPRINTING to snag a Mora Garberg and/or Kansbol in CPM Magnacut? Best thing about steels like Magnacut is that you also don’t have to put coatings on the blades to protect them from corrosion, cause Magnacut is already highly corrosion resistant. Like, come on, Mora. People LOVE those knives (the Garberg and the Kansbol,) and love the way those handles feel. Why ruin a good thing and attempt to pawn off recycled mystery steel on your consumer base, while pricing it like its super steel? Not when you’ve literally hit a SLAM DUNK with the designs of the Garberg and Kansbol and you can now make them even better (just as long as you heat-cycle/-treat the steel well.)
Absolutely beautiful knives just can't buy them my wife would flip because of the cost I wish they were cheaper
