I would have never thought of adding extra concrete (without rocks) to make a more smoother finish. Feeling really dumb right now 😂

I was told to mix a shovel or 2 of Portland cement to a quikrete bag. Is this true? I guess it helps with smoothing.

I make small slabs for my hvac equipment but i get pocket rocks on surface. I use the homedepot concrete bags with rocks mixed in. How do i get a smooth finish on surface. Plz help

Do you do the "Random Rotary" finish? We did tons of it in parking structures in the Union.

I never do concrete work. I do forming. Now. They are paying 44 per hour building curb and gutter, and sidewalk..

Quick crete sucks because its made with pea gravel, instead of #2 stone. Little round stones pop out of the surface easy, and roll on the forms.

Thank you for your help I was able to do this myself for about 125 dollars it tool me like 4 months to do this cause I got bad seals and the wrong cc seal driver so it definitely took way too long I recommend next time to say what way the seals and washers go because that caused alot of confusion for me but thanks tho I got it done

Anybody can do a 2 by 2 that's BS try doing 30 or 40 yards of stamped concrete you know what you have to do if you're an experienced journeyman poured plenty of them it's disgusting dirty work make sure you wear a respirator and bring a change of clothes

Looking at reviews on the quickrete with a lot saying some bags have a lot more aggregate the cement so hard to get smooth finish..I know you said you add 2 shovels of cement for 5 bags, how much you think should be added per 60lb bag and do you add extra water? I can only mix 2 bags at a time and don't want to add too much and ruin it.
