Joe, have you ever done a comparison between the kitchenaid ice cream attachments vs. Ivation?

Do u prefer the frozen tub or this type more.

I gotta say, this would've been a strong consideration when I was looking. The other compressor machines cost way more. I vetoed the container freezer type because of freezer space.

After you mix the ice cream, instead of removing the ice cream to freeze for a harder consistency, what about just hitting the freeze button and not mix it to speed freeze it? 30 minutes vs the 2 hours in the freezer?

Why did you cool the base in the refrigerator rather than using the machine's base-cooling feature?

I wish it could make 4 quart batches.

Seems like there are at least 2 knock offs of this on Amazon right now, totally identical, from Whynter and Cowsar.
