"The best way to do it is to use the hip"- J Pedro .
I thought that once the hip became involved it is then considered a "hane goshi" (spelling may be wrong sorry) and no longer an uchi mata ? Idk they both look soooo similar and you guys all do them so crisp ,efficient, and clean so hard for me to tell lol either way looks awesome great video
Very nice Oss.
ОтветитьWell that's the exact problem I have with Uchi-Mata, now I know what I need to work on. thank you!
ОтветитьYou know what would be killer? If there was a top-down camera, high up, so we could look straight down on the entry and the throw and see the angles 🤔
Ответитьnearest judo club is like 5 hrs drive from where i live and work. i really wanted to join but i dont know how, without taking a long break from work. any advice?
ОтветитьI can't thank you enough for these videos and the effort you make making them

ОтветитьToo bad you are left handed person but good tutorial
ОтветитьThanks for the pointer make alot more science now seems alot easier for me to do it that way scince I usually perfer throw from the hips anyways great uchi Mata thanks for the lessons your a great sensei! Osss
Ответитьisn't this hane-goshi though? I always get confused which is which...
ОтветитьHane goshi
ОтветитьQuestion: I'm very tall so I usually have to get awkwardly low to be able to get below my partner's hips. Is there a way to make uchi mata work without getting below the hips? Or should I look for other throws when faced with a big height difference?
ОтветитьSimply M-A-S-T-E-R C-L-A-S-S
Thanks a lot!
When you do it looks more like hane goshi
