Awesome call! I just wanted to see if anything has changed since I left them to go to Werner. Everything is just about the same, other than the pay. I was making $0.36/mile on the Georgia Pacific account. Also, when it came to my home time, I was told 48 hrs but it really was just a 34hr reset. Lastly, the inverters that the maintenance installs only stays on for 2 hours then it cuts off. Overall, I enjoyed working there. Great for starting your career off, not good for experienced drivers. MAN you just got me pumped up for Roehl.. I was a little apprehensive when I first looked them up but they seem to be the best company for a new guy among the ones I've seen you Q&A so far

They are an okay company if you are on a contract for new guys your paycheck can be small and its because they are taking money out or your check for your contract you signed. Equipment for flatbed is decent tarps suck tho. Pay is okay starting but if you work hard you can move up. Fleet managers can be harsh some not all. Speed limit got bumped up to 66 or 67.

I just talked to one of the recruiters actually about 15 minutes ago. I was interested in their school. I asked about the mileage pay and they told me that after school it's 36.5 a mile. The recruiter I spoke with was not sure when and how much of a pay increase they give. I am actually leaning toward either CFI or Knight or possibly FFE. What is your opinion on these three companies if you don't mind answering.

The most important thing to me is truck speed...need to be 65mph no cruise 66 mph and above w/cruise and in-cab driver cameras.
